As i have been through the whole process of installing Solar Panels for my Home and ultimately applied for green meter myself so this guide will help you understand what should you know before applying for green net metering in pakistan.
There are some truths no one will tell you about solar net metering but I have tried to cover everything i know personally in this process.

You are talking about the previous video on netmeter installation. I couldn't find any video, can you please share.
Moreover I have a bit of a technical question. In case of hybrid inverter which also serves as ups during loadsheding. Can we use 2nd meter during peak ours, I am not sure if there is stanalone wire for export. Can we still export the units to Green meter, while feeding in power from normal meter to save peak ours load. Lets say from 5 to 11 pm.
Salam Ahmad I have already added some links, at what time stamp i spoke about net metering video so i can check again, Thanks. Secondly in peak hours i.e 5 to 11 pm there is no solar production how can we export something at that time :). Yes as long as using alternate ( Single phase meter ) is concerned we can convert heavy load to that meter for 4 to 5 hours this is what i am doing right now. I have to pay the bill for that but rates are bit cheaper you know as compared to green meter peak hours. 1 yes hybrid is for sure capable of net metering, plus jab light jaie tu bhi system chalta. That's expensive.
2 5kw minimum required for net metering

So recently we have installed solar system at our house ( Ryk ) and the solar Panels are Jinko N-type Topcon 580w , or yeh 8 Panel hain which is around 4.6kw or (4640 watt) And currently using a local inverter.
So the question is
1. We are eligible for net-metering or not?
2. is the involvement of AEDB necessary?
Well the hybrid inverter is obviously necessary and we will buy zewinic series hybrid inverter later we just started the started the system, and additionally there is company named as "Solwave" and they are aedb company so should i have to contact them for net metering?
I am really sorry brother i dont know how i missed your message. Wow Rahim Yar Khan is amazing mashallah. I guess for net metering at least 5Kw hona chahye you can check with your MEPCO. I guess yehi manage karta waha. What do you mean by local inverter ? I have never heard about AEDB Alternative Energy Development Board just seen from google. If i managed to complete my process before knowing about it then it seems no involvement haha.
Lastly Solwave I have no experience of working with them please do a serious survey before taking someone on board.

It is also requested to educate us /viewers/audience regarding export /import criteria. It has been in discussion, that wapda takes @19/unit n , gives back @ 55/ unit ,n , sales tax also been charged. This would simply means, one has to produce at least 3 times more energy per day then required. Over a year , if someone consumption is 10,000 units ( for example), then his /her yearly production must b around 30,000 units annually as to enjoy "0" electricity bill. It has also been in discussion that green meter bills are on quarterly basis. So, if u can throw some lights on above then it would be highly beneficial to all of us /viewers/audience.

Yes Sir you got it right, this will work with bidirectional meter. As there are no batteries attached so its of no use. Also one thing to be aware of as solar panels are producing energy so solar company always suggest to keep your inverter off till it is connected with grid, safety measure s.

Salam awais good question, ghar ki internal wiring phase ki according nai hoti wo ek he tarha hoti. Ap ye samajh lain 3 phase main 3 single phase ki tarain atien hain so all good. internally bus ap ne make sure karna hay ke distribution sahi ho

I have a single phase inverter installed for now, and on paper they want a three phase inverter. So did they visit your place to check compliance or speed money took care of it?
Salam brother, they have not visited me for even survey unfortunately speed money worked. Not on paper if you need green meter it has to be 3 phase meter. I had single phase as well so they changed meter plus load

@@ExplorewithTaj I have submitted Demand Notices for both Name change and extension of load. Now I have to submit the AEDB approved vendor net metering file along with the above mentioned DN.
The question is how and for how much, did you get that file?
@@belalmir5 brother I am sorry this part is missing my solar company prepared that file and gave me I submitted file paid 2 challans 1 for load change 1 for green meter. my solar company must have adjusted that file cost in total bill

App heavy load ko control karo jab wapda naa ho aur wese bhi saftey breakers lagay hain na ? ye sab cheezain zaroori hain. Main ne isi leay off grid tu door ki baat hybrid bhi nai lia inhi cheezun se jaan jati hay meri.

You have not discussed about documents required for Net metering process. For example if someone purchase equipment from market and do installation and do not have any doc.
salam thanks for comment. if you have already a meter in place all you need is to give last month paid bill and ID card copy. If its a new meter then only ID card should work. you cannot buy meter from market anymore this is what they told me. thanks
