It probably went from you to the guy in Dearborn -> my friend -> me. My friend wrecked it into a car on Gratiot near Mt Elliot in Detroit while I was with him, really didn't sustain any crazy injuries but did have to go to the hospital. When he got it the bike was leaking oil from the crank seal and still is but I'll be fixing it soon. He put these stupid ass purple handlebars on it that I'll be swapping back out for stock soon. Basically all of the fairings got damaged in the collision and the front forks were completely bent. I replaced the forks and the bike is now rideable but definitely needs some touch up to its cosmetic. If you ever see this and do get back with me at my email you can come take it for a rip sometime once I have it totally mint in the spring!
Yeah I sold it to the guy in Dearborn for $2,800. It ran and drove just as good as it did in the video when I sold it he was surprised at how well the clutch was and how smooth it Road compared to others he was looking at. I live way up in the thumb area don't really ride down in the city. Glad to see you're rebuilding the bike.
@@bluchevy01 Wow I got a deal then lol! I used to actually live in Marine City kind of up there too. I think the guy in Dearborn probably overfilled it on oil because the oil changes are kind of tricky on these bikes and that's why the crank seal leaks. About to pull off the carbs today and get to cleaning just as a preventative thing. Good talking with you man, always cool to find previous owners, safe riding!
@@bluchevy01 I just got a quote for this bike through Progressive and to add it as liability to my Suzuki is only 240 for a year. I got a DUI recently though so my insurance will probably go up a little bit. Probably not by much though for just liability.
@@flatlineoptimism2600 well it's not only a concern to keep insurance rates low in the motorcycle but on the vehicles. I have a new truck and my wife has a new car.

What exhaust is that?
Danmoto slip on.
Why would you wanna sell that after just 1500 miles? I heard these are great bikes.
Because I get stupid on fast things. And I like to keep my insurance rates low. It was a great bike.
