What a lovely park up! Mrs Slaw was shouting at the stupid woman in the 4x4 who made you reverse instead of driving on the grass to let you through. The higher you get though, the worse the roads will become.
I know what can possibly go wrong 🙈. Yeah she could have easily moved out of way. I told John not to back down but not listen to me 🤣❤️z

Biked there two years ago John smashing place you can rent those cottages out nice cafe also . Stayed on the municipal campsite right next to the CAMC site.
Yeah holiday cottages. Apparently they were used for people working in the lighthouse ❤️z
We just missed you today at the Mull of Galloway Lighthouse. The generator looked good. One tip I recommend is run the fuel dry after use, especially if its only going to be used as an emergency back up. We took one to Iceland and buggered it up when we got back by leaving some petrol in the tank. The fuel degrades and gums everything up 👍

This is why motor homes and campervans are hated in Scotland because they think the locals should bow down to them when you come onto single track roads with oversized vans.

Generators good idea but, a lot of campsites have banned them now or just have selected hours. But I can definitely see advantage if totally off grid. Good morning and thanks for the lovely scenery - always love Scotland ❤️. Nice to see you both so chilled. Interesting to see the generator. I’m sure it will give peace of mind for you for not a lot of money. I was looking at the prices of CLs/CS last night and even they aren’t as cheap as they used to be ☹️ plus on some you have to pay extra for electricity. I’m looking forward to the next video already. Great vlog. What a stunning park up. And my favourite price.... F.R.E.E. I like the idea of the genny but I am always worried about the noise... as you say it is OK when you are alone at some remote location. And it gives you peace of mind for being able to recharge your power...

Love mull of Galloway,the roads do get a bit bigger on the way up the coast. Although one I would avoid further up is the bealach na ba heading to applecross.
Think we have been on that road before yes it's very narrow ❤️z
@@BertieBus on they way up the coast from mull of Galloway,girvan has a nice beach car park for Motorhomes and a really nice one at Scott’s just before you come into Largs there’s a free stop over there.

Should have got a quieter one whats it like when you put kettle on ?
Yeah it runs at 58 decibels . We was given it to try . We have never had one before to compare to . It will be ok when off grid with no one near us as an emergency back up . Not tried it with a kettle as our is for the gas hob . ❤️
@@BertieBus if you try it with an electric kettle you will know if its any good most generators have a job with a kettle
