- Beloved WNBC anchor Chuck Scarborough joins TODAY to celebrate his milestone of 50 years with the network. The occasion was also marked with the Empire State Building lit in blue and yellow in his honor. “When you’re so preoccupied with the very busy present, you kind of forget about how much time is passing by," he says.

Crazy I left NY in 1983 when I joined the Army at 19.....my Mom would turn on Live at 5 every night when we had dinner and of course we would watch the NBC news after 5 as well whenever we would sit down to eat....I am 59 years old now....good memories.....I of course Remember Al as well....Chuck looks great.....taking care of yourself and being skinny is the key to a long and great life...good stuff...

Happy 50 years at WNBC Chuck. I loved the show 'Memories..Then and Now', which he cohosted with Kathryn Kinley, in the early 1990s.
