It's not an easy repair and requires special tools.

Fixing a stuck button on my Traverse Alpha I was shocked to find the bezel retaining screws were barely finger tight.

Sorry but no.. this repair was a one time job for me.
After about 6hrs in -20° temperatures the watch started responding real slow. The Barometer and altimeter read "--" while the compass kept going back and forth between west and north (I was headed south). When I came in tonight the watch was so dim i couldn't see a thing. I tried a soft reset (long press all four corner buttons for 10 seconds) and everything came back on looking normal
Thanks for posting how to reset the watch. I thought my my 8 year old Traverse was a goner. I followed your directions for a “soft reset” and it came back to life. I hope the reset will keep it going for another 8 years or more … 1:38
