Okayama Korakuen Garden 🌾 One of The Three Great Gardens of Japan

Okayama is the capital city of Okayama Prefecture in Japan. It's the largest city in the Chugoku Region after Hiroshima.
Korakuen Garden is considered one of the three great gardens in Japan, along with Kanazawa City’s Kenrokuen and Mito City’s Kairakuen. It was built about 300 years ago by the local feudal lord, Ikeda Tsunamasa. The garden has retained most of its original appearance across the Edo period (1603-1868). It has earned a 3-star rating from Michelin Green Guide.
We didn't have time to stop, but Okayama Castle is across the river from Korakuen Garden. The castle was destroyed during World War II. It was rebuilt and reconstructed in 1966.
