If this isn't working for you then you probably changed the system file location where Retroarch looks for the bios. Double check your settings and make sure you put the bios file in the location where you told Retroarch to look for bios files.

I followed your walkthrough and for some reason it comes up as Sony - PS2 (LRPS2). Also went a step further and did a install or restore core and it is already installed and is calling it LRPS2.

Had the same problem here, but it was BIOS issue. When I tried the same he uses, it worked

@@sergiolopes4139 I thought so too but if I use the emulator by itself the game runs fine. Had to change a setting but it worked. Not sure why I'm having a tough time with Retroarch.

Hey ECT, this video was great in all ways and everything was explained well, and I was even able to download the box art for my roms too. It was fine until I tried to start a game and it would just immediately crash and all it would say was "failed to load content". Not sure if this is an easy fix or not and im just wondering if you can help me out with this? Thanks for the amazing video.

This can happen for a couple of reasons, or the game file is corrupted, or the bios that you set up or the game are in a different region, for example USA games with pal bios

Hola, excelente video. Segui los pasos y me funcionó, pero cuando ejecuté un juego el juego se sentía muy rápido como que estaba corriendo a muchos fps y varios textos no se podian leer, además de que no tenia sonido. Sabes cual puede ser el problema y como solucionarlo?

Gracias, dale a tab en el juego y mira en las opciones, o en la configuración del emulador si tienes el Framelimiter activado o no, y el sonido mira en las opciones también si está bien configurado, y prueba con ellas es difícil sin estar delante del PC yo mismo exacto lo que es, cuéntame cómo fue

Try launching first retroarch Nd play a game, and see if creates the folder. If not make one yourself and follow the instructions of the video

Some people say Playlist isn’t working. I haven’t found a fix. For me they work from the ps2 section

I can’t share that because of the copyright on them but I can tell you that if you search in google for ps2 bios files on the first 3 results can help you 😉

Hey great video man, the installation of the ps2 cores worked but whenever I start a new game and get to the gameplay, there is ann unplayable amount of fps drops and stuttering, as well as audio cuts. I would really appreciate it if you had any advice to fix the audio, video stuttering thanks

That can be a compatibility issue or with your Rom. Check the configuration of the core itself, and test out different resolutions and change stuff around to test it. It depends system to system so I can’t tell you the best settings without testing it myself
