Unless & untill one pay his homage to them Debi Pakhha can not begin. At the beginning of Durga Puja celebrations being introduced by Zaminders & Rich families all over the Bengal it is customary for each artists only to paint Eyes of Devi durga after Mahalaya Tithee. After this religious ritual is over Debi Pakhha begins or the Nava Ratri festival can only commence. Here in this video the Eye Painting of one Huge Durga Pratima is been accomplished by the Kumartuli Artist Shri Naba Kumar Paul at his studion. This Pratima is given order by 74 Palli Khidderpore Puja Committee for Durga Puja of 2023. Artist therefore has to complete the making of Devi Durga thoroughly so that he can deliver the same in time to the said Puja Committe.
