- A few weeks ago I visited Janet’s Foss and Janet’s cave. The cave especially was a disgrace. Worn, dirty underwear, half melted bits of plastic, broken glass and the worst one… a used sanitary towel.

That's absolutely disgusting. If you hike from Higger Tor to Ox Stones along the road you could fill 40 heavy duty garbage bags with all the maccies wrappers, extra strength lager and disguarded wine bottles. People who come out for tge views but just toss stuff because it is someone elses job to clear it up. I've always wanted to take a refuse bag out with me but forget. I think I'll stuff on inside my day pack. Thank you for doing this, i really appreciate it.
