Also the 96/97 team was really hood and were up 3-1 against the heat then the fight and 4 or 5 knicks players got supended. Ewing , Starks , LJ, and 2 more. They almost won game 6 with 2 main pieces out .

Patrick was always more effective when he was slimmer and lighter… look at how athletic he was and his conditioning become poorer and poorer and as he got heavier and slower … this 1992 team was probably their best chance at contending against Chicago. 1997 team also honorable mention too. Actually conditioning wasn’t the problem. Conditioning was actually pretty good when Pat Riley was the coach of the Knicks, It required to lose a certain amount of body fat. When Riley unfortunately left the Knicks because Dave Checketts the President of the garden at the time who was too busy playing with himself and didn’t give Pat Riley the peace of the pie that’s when Patrick Ewing got a little bit chubby but still was effective.

The two teams that gave the Bulls fits with their physicality in the late 80s/early 90s. Both excellent teams. Very interesting to see what happened when they played each other and not surprised there were fireworks! Great upload!

A 41-40 halftime score in the 90’s would be a score in the 1st or 2nd quarter in 2024.

Today's NBA players need to watch on how physical defense used to be played in the good old days. No whimp, crying, and pouting about a foul. Take some damn notes AAU players.

I invite these all new generations of ballers to watch this!!! There is more defense and physicality in the first quarter of this game than in a whole year of this new "cup cake" NBA era!! 🤐
