      I am accountant too, I am CPA but I don’t agree with this man saying American has more opportunities than any country in the world.
      If you have happened to have opportunity in America that doesn’t mean American is better than any place in the world.
      Please you got to travel more and see.

    The best way to measure is through the GDPs of USA and the rest of the world. The gentleman is right. The annual budget of the USA is the whole of Europe combined!

      Stop capping mate. You may have a point if you compare the GDP of USA (about $23 trillion) to the EU’s (about $19 trillion). The difference is not that much. Mind you, not all European countries are part of the EU (Russia and it allies). The UK is currently not part of the EU.

    You can always see the difference with US interviews, the knowledge level of the respondents, the opportunities, the success etc is unmatched, US is indeed land of opportunity. He is spot on, UK is ok but difficult, even as a professional you have to work overtime to be comfortable, God bless america

    Dj I like your stance on the UK/US comparison point. Having document abroad in all countries give you a great start. You can aim high and achieve it or change your mind at any time. Self employment jobs are good anywhere.

      @@sidwill5945 True talk and the work you do abroad is very crucial. for tax filing, everyone files tax, and it's yearly so he is truly blessed to be in that space. Additionally, he is a good person and has set up his career well. With all that pro bono work, may God keep blessing him.

    America is the best place in the whole wide world ! I have stayed in eroupe and been to Canada and alot of friends in Canada,I can say boldly that no place like America!!! In my current company I have worked with for almost 1 year ! I got more than $66,000 -70,000 in cash award and stocks! I can imagine me working there for 10 to 15 years !!

      I am glad to read your comment. I have many Ghanaian clients working for companies like Uber, Facebook, Netflix, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, etc making over $300,000 per year. The opportunities in the US are incredible.

    It's very complicated to do your internship with a company in Ghana, most companies in Ghana will reject you if you want work as a volunteer. Our system is awful and helpless.... Thats why a lot of Ghanaians are travelling to Europe and north America to look for greener pastures 😢

    Some people has also make it in the UK. If you listen to him very well he didn't hv permanent stay in the UK. His documents were about to expire aswell it's also another headache

    DJ Nyaami, I can tell you that it is not always the money. People want to get rich quickly and are prepared to anythingfor such little amount of money. Only a month ago an elderly lady has been killed by her house help because the house help thought she could take her money. This is the level of greed!! It happened in Kumasi, Ayeduase.

    He should stop capping. Being financially successful does not necessarily depend on where you live but on your own capabilities. There are equally a lot of Ghanaians and Africans I know here in the UK who own businesses and make over £20k monthly. It’s pretty much easier to open your own business here in the UK if only you are serious. Business registration normally takes a week or two here. It could be that you were not motivated when you lived in the UK.

      Exactly my point! This guy is making it seem as if it’s impossible all those things in the Uk. He was in the UK with expired visa,of course his life will be miserable compared to being in the US with green card. The comparison was unnecessary!

    Andy plz I will like to know if you Masters in accounting and finance from Ghana does it guarantee you to sit for the CPA exams in the USA or you hv to acquire the Masters in the USA before sitting for the CPA exams ? Thanks 🙏🏿

      If you meet the minimum credit hours I think you can sit for the CPA

      That’s true so long as you have at least 150 credit hours. You need minimum credit hours in Accounting

      @@andrewsasiedu5521 Qualification to sit for the CPA exam is dependent on the State Boards of Accountancy.
      In some states, they require credits in Taxation and other requirements which your typical Ghanaian accounting degree will not qualify for.
      Thus for those states, you can qualify after fulfilling their US taxation specific courses.
      I am a person with active CPA license for over 12 years.

    Unnecessary comparison,you had no papers in the UK but came to US with green card and you expect to have the same experience?? The national minimum wage in US is about $8 compared to UK’s $10. The US has lower taxes so in the end it ends up being the same. Of course the US is a much bigger economy so has more opportunities but at the end of the day,the standard of living across these 2 countries are more or less the same! My work place is full of white American’s who have relocated to the UK. Talking about you wanted to be an entrepreneur,are you suggesting there are no immigrant business owners in the UK??? Mtweeew

      I don't know where the guy wants to compare here. Where in the states is minimum wage 8 dollars.
      Again the standard of living in US is far better the UK. This is just factual. Check room sizes in the US compared to the UK. Just forget about UK, US is far better than the UK ten times. 😂😂
