Wow! It was one of the best interviews I have listened to this year. He is so humble and honest.
I wish him all the best. D J Nyami, thank you for bringing this man to share his experience with us.
Abroad is not for the lazy and faint- hearted. USA is the real world. The most adventurous , technological and economically advanced country in the world!
Who say book no good too? Accounting best business course ever. Bro bless up... Bigups SVTV
Wow, this man is so humble and smart. I applaud you for your dedication and commitment in both your roles as a CPA here and a great inteupreneur in Ghana. God bless you and enlarge your territory
i need this man this man in my family , full of sense
This is almost my story, from Scotland, Dundee to New York as a fresh graduate in accounting , hoping to establish my feet and sit for my CPA . I pray I meet you one day sir.
I am accountant too, I am CPA but I don’t agree with this man saying American has more opportunities than any country in the world.
If you have happened to have opportunity in America that doesn’t mean American is better than any place in the world.
Please you got to travel more and see.
The best way to measure is through the GDPs of USA and the rest of the world. The gentleman is right. The annual budget of the USA is the whole of Europe combined!
Stop capping mate. You may have a point if you compare the GDP of USA (about $23 trillion) to the EU’s (about $19 trillion). The difference is not that much. Mind you, not all European countries are part of the EU (Russia and it allies). The UK is currently not part of the EU.
Education remains the most reliable path forward; its significance is unmatched by any other means. 👏👏👏👏
I concur
Top tier interview.Listen to some people for just an hour and your whole thoughts will be transformed forever.God bless you sir for sharing your story. It’s so inspiring.
great interview. the educated ones are so calm and collected, giving us all the facts. we need more of such people on the show.No drama😄
Shade😅😅. 💯 True Thou! He’s Soo Calm!!
You can always see the difference with US interviews, the knowledge level of the respondents, the opportunities, the success etc is unmatched, US is indeed land of opportunity. He is spot on, UK is ok but difficult, even as a professional you have to work overtime to be comfortable, God bless america
You have inspired me. This is another wonderful interview from the Masters SVTV.
America 🇺🇸 the Land of opportunities, where the poor and oppressed would find opportunity and freedom, where the ambitious and adventurous could make their fortunes ❤❤❤🎉
Abeg adopt me eh
True talk dear 😘
Great interview. I have enjoyed listening to Andy.
Very informative
Congrats team
The guy is factual as a nurse I know even nurses in other countries wish to work here in the USA due to salary.
Dj I like your stance on the UK/US comparison point. Having document abroad in all countries give you a great start. You can aim high and achieve it or change your mind at any time. Self employment jobs are good anywhere.
Smart Conversation. Sharp Guy
Well explain interview
Great interview. I wish he had explained exactly why UK was difficult for him. He kep saying it’s difficult but didn’t explain why
Yeah.Am in the states but I think what he said is relative. They are people in UK who will never come to the usa.
@@sidwill5945 True talk and the work you do abroad is very crucial. for tax filing, everyone files tax, and it's yearly so he is truly blessed to be in that space. Additionally, he is a good person and has set up his career well. With all that pro bono work, may God keep blessing him.
America is the best place in the whole wide world ! I have stayed in eroupe and been to Canada and alot of friends in Canada,I can say boldly that no place like America!!! In my current company I have worked with for almost 1 year ! I got more than $66,000 -70,000 in cash award and stocks! I can imagine me working there for 10 to 15 years !!
I am glad to read your comment. I have many Ghanaian clients working for companies like Uber, Facebook, Netflix, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, etc making over $300,000 per year. The opportunities in the US are incredible.
@@andrewsasiedu5521 I have two masters degrees, work for richest biotechnology company in the world!! I had an offer with my Microsoft but decline it because of stock options!
UK is an overhyped? US is the real deal😉
Very sensible guy . God bless you guys
America is the greatest country in the world, it has no size in terms of everything
internships, networking, volunteering and interviewing are all part of the job hunting process!
on- the job training experience is an integral part of gaining good jobs!
Such a lovely lovely decent young man & oozing with the milk of human kindness. Your sense of responsibility, resilience and honesty will continue to take you further & further. Good analysis & clearly spoken like an accountant!! You don't give small money chance koraa. 😂😂👍🏾 🤞🏾🙏🏾😇
Nice interview
He’s right, when it’s comes down to business,, yes USis the best for that
Not just business. Having lived in the US for the past 20 years, working in the field of IT, I can say there are more career opportunities in the US compared to other western countries.
Straight up betting and making it big here in Ghana. Will do my interview soon
It's very complicated to do your internship with a company in Ghana, most companies in Ghana will reject you if you want work as a volunteer. Our system is awful and helpless.... Thats why a lot of Ghanaians are travelling to Europe and north America to look for greener pastures 😢
Aswerr..Normal internship man dey search.Adey bleed tee
Bro… you do all :)
nice sife experience 🎉❤
I'm feeling happy for you. I'm in Scotland doing the same thing 1❤
I heard about Scotland,is very cold there
It will end you well .please listen to this man well
Yeah, but you get hot in de summer@taxidi787
Yep just last week a plumber worked on my pipes for approximately 2 hrs and I paid $720.
The good jobs require these skills, it’s not degrees alone!
God bless us all
California state alone is the fourth wealthiest state in the world. One of the the fifty states!
Celebrity money. and do not forget the cost of living in this same state plus quality of life. A lot of homeless people.
Hi how do I connect with you. Am a cpa candidate in Massachusetts
🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Some people has also make it in the UK. If you listen to him very well he didn't hv permanent stay in the UK. His documents were about to expire aswell it's also another headache
Unfortunately US doesn’t recognize the ACCA so I had to abandon it.
@@andrewsasiedu5521so what Professional exam does the US endorse??
DJ Nyaami, I can tell you that it is not always the money. People want to get rich quickly and are prepared to anythingfor such little amount of money. Only a month ago an elderly lady has been killed by her house help because the house help thought she could take her money. This is the level of greed!! It happened in Kumasi, Ayeduase.
i want to know how his name Andico is written n how to get him on google
It is Andyko
@@andrewsasiedu5521Well Informed!! Awesome Interview 🙌🏽 You’re Doing Great 😊
Andyko
He should stop capping. Being financially successful does not necessarily depend on where you live but on your own capabilities. There are equally a lot of Ghanaians and Africans I know here in the UK who own businesses and make over £20k monthly. It’s pretty much easier to open your own business here in the UK if only you are serious. Business registration normally takes a week or two here. It could be that you were not motivated when you lived in the UK.
waw
Exactly my point! This guy is making it seem as if it’s impossible all those things in the Uk. He was in the UK with expired visa,of course his life will be miserable compared to being in the US with green card. The comparison was unnecessary!
He is not wrong. The UK has far less opportunities than the US.
Lol do people really compare the US to UK?
Even with my eyes closed I’ll choose the US any day, any time .
UK Apuuuuuu😂
Andy plz I will like to know if you Masters in accounting and finance from Ghana does it guarantee you to sit for the CPA exams in the USA or you hv to acquire the Masters in the USA before sitting for the CPA exams ? Thanks 🙏🏿
If you meet the minimum credit hours I think you can sit for the CPA
That’s true so long as you have at least 150 credit hours. You need minimum credit hours in Accounting
@@andrewsasiedu5521 Qualification to sit for the CPA exam is dependent on the State Boards of Accountancy.
In some states, they require credits in Taxation and other requirements which your typical Ghanaian accounting degree will not qualify for.
Thus for those states, you can qualify after fulfilling their US taxation specific courses.
I am a person with active CPA license for over 12 years.
Thank you all for you education. Really appreciate 🙏🏿🙏🏿
@@dongshassy
Plz can you help me with requirements for Tennessee State ?
Andy, pls did you continue with the ACCA when you got to the US or did you stop and went for the CPA exams rather?
Kindly answer when you see this. Thanks
You need to get cpa. You can't practice with foreign cert
DJ Name the term they use is internship
Internship and voluntary service are different just that it has similarities.❤
Very despicable comparisons between countries , DJ name ask them about Weather , marriage , health , humanity , freedom of movement, food , racial justice, and cost of living.
The US ranks number one in everything. Thete are 50 states you can move to any one if you don't like the weather, women, jobs in another state
This guy is very intelligent because if you as an individual traveled because you want to earn a good salary and respect but when those same people open a business back home they ride on the same reason of paying their workers poorly whiles they traveled because of that hmmmm
,live in the suburbs, it's depends where you lived with n guns even though it can happen anyway
Unnecessary comparison, you had no papers in the UK but came to US with green card and you expect to have the same experience?? The national minimum wage in US is about $8 compared to UK’s $10. The US has lower taxes so in the end it ends up being the same. Of course the US is a much bigger economy so has more opportunities but at the end of the day,the standard of living across these 2 countries are more or less the same! My work place is full of white American’s who have relocated to the UK. Talking about you wanted to be an entrepreneur, are you suggesting there are no immigrant business owners in the UK??? Mtweeew
I am sorry to see how you have personalized this. I spoke based on my experience and I am totally entitled to my opinion. I highly recommend you also grant an interview and share your experience.
I have not personalised anything, i am asking you to be factual. You spoke as though your life as an undocumented immigrant represents the life of all immigrants in the UK and you are WRONG! There are thousands of Ghanaian chartered accountants making it big in the UK!
I don't know where the guy wants to compare here. Where in the states is minimum wage 8 dollars.
Again the standard of living in US is far better the UK. This is just factual. Check room sizes in the US compared to the UK. Just forget about UK, US is far better than the UK ten times. 😂😂
Donald trump just threatened NATO about countries defaulting on their contributions to the NATO and Europe is quiet 🤐🤫
Whatever he said is based on his personal experience, must u challenge someone’s personal experience?
@@automation247yes when he is trying to project his personal experience as other’s reality.
I’m in Uk but it is highly true 🫠
