"BREAK ME DOWN!" - The Stick
I can't remember WHICH episodes of this I've watched specifically, but at least 1 or 2 of them included a little bit where the drummer went: "Know it... Know it... Know it... Know it..." ❤
I love this new type of content! I just watched the one where the Megadeth drummer plays Mr Brightside the other day and I was hoping someone would react to it cause I wanted to see it from a drummers perspective. Overall, great video. Please keep branching out and trying new content like this. 🤘
1:19 - I have to point out the Taylor Hawkins shirt
10:10 - This was great
Please talk about more technical stuff about the drums for these reactions! People come to these types of videos for new/additional input so more of what you think as a drummer or even explaining things for laypeople like me would help a lot.
Do more of these first time hearing ones bro. Should see Mike portnoy play nickel back 😂😂
I thought it was 3/4 for a second too as im unfamiliar but its just triplets. Hes so insane!❤
It is in 3. Jared and Shannon confirmed it.
Jarid and Shannon reacted to this clip and they confirmed it was written in 3/4 time, not 6/8. Chad knows his stuff, he's been drumming since he was 10yrs old or so.
It’s def in 12/16ths
I'm not a drummer but as a part time musician it would seem to be in 3/4 or 6/8 depending on the count...but I may not know what I'm talking about lol
Thank you @ralatar1. And even when you say it, people still insist they know better 🙄
I saw this video of Chad and 2 days later I bought an acoustic kit. I now also have a ekit. I knew drums would be difficult to learn but I underestimated how much time it would take to at least be a decent drummer. For the most part I'm having fun tho. I just noticed his right foot. I never noticed how shaky (if that's a good way of describing it) is.
Jared and Shannon said it was in three in their reaction video so I’d probably go with that lol
The band confirmed it is 3/4
I love these themes❤
I would like you to put subtitles in Spanish, if it's not too much trouble.
Yea you’re definitely not a smarter drummer than Chad smith. Thats 3/8. Jared and Shannon reacted to this video and once he said “ oh it’s in 3” they were like yep.
I don't think this is actually that hard. Send me a song, I'll make a video and send it back I'm not joking..
Did you do it? Video or didn’t happen
@dgoldberger7878 I have done it I just had to use different songs as I now have heard this song. I d8d make videos, and I tried to post them, but they didn't really get watched so I took them down.
@@CalebCarterFilm Every drummer i know can pull this off. The structure is the "usual" so it's not that hard to pull off. If someone does first take on some crazier Dream theater song i'll be impressed, this is not that impressive despite being fairly entertaining. It's kinda like hearing song off of radio and playing it back, impressive for lay man but for anyone who's even slightly learned in harmony it's pretty self explanatory.
@kookoo9235 That's my point, it's the fact that he's Chad smith that people are going nuts about it. There's all these channels reaction to it with fake reactions, it's not actually that hard.
Work on actually reacting instead of just watching it otherwise it is completely stealing content. What you could do is tell everyone to open up a tab with the original video and mute it and let it play out and that way it works out for everyone
He was literally reacting to it ur just yapping
There's a fine line between too much talking and not enough talking. Sure he could of maybe broke down the thought process of a drummer on some parts a little more but I'd rather watch a reaction that talks less than someone who pauses every 2 seconds to tell their whole life's story and missing out on certain parts.
Could not disagree more. Literally have no idea what you’re talking about.
Of course it is in 6/8 - you‘re a drummer? How can you not differentiate between 4/4 and 6/8? Poor reaction :(
