It is actually his name, he was the only one that actually had a recording contract he paid his band like employees, he made them all philthy Rich. He has a lot of pretty cool songs, not my favorite that came out of the 80s but I do find myself singing along with a lot of the songs. I think everybody knows at least one Bon Jovi song No matter what genre of music you like.
ah no! Richie was recording before the band. Jon was continually rejected by most labels, his cousin had a recording studio and connections. Also, NO Jon did not pay the band, SMH..the label pays them. Jon lied about a lot of shit. Jon didn't make any of the band members 'rich'....they were a band, all members contributed to their success and Richie wrote a good number of their hit songs.
@@christopherone1 you actually need to do some research, on little runaway Jon Bon Jovi paid the band, Jon Bon Jovi was offered the contract he hired the rest of them. It's well documented and it was on a CBS Sunday Morning interview. Look it up.
I haven't heard this for ages! He/they did some great stuff. For Jon Bon Jovi try "Blaze of Glory" or "Queen of New Orleans". For Bon Jovi try "Wanted Dead or Alive" or "Keep the Faith".
