    As a person that spend 2-3 months a year in Cabo I have to respectfully disagree with your "stay away from the seafood or it may make you sick". I've never heard of anyone eating the seafood and getting sick. It is one of the best places in the world to eat fish...marlin, sea bass, octopus and shrimp. Smoked marlin taco and empanadas are some to the best in all of the Cabos. Mazatlan Marisco and Los Tres Islas are my personal favorites that can be found off the beaten path in the residential areas and they are stuffed with tourist! Usually I can get HUGE lobster stuff sea bass with shrimp, octopus, scallops for $12 AND it fresh off the boats. My last and final comment is the safety. Cabo is extremely safe for tourist as long as you use basic common sense. I often tell my wife it safer in Cabo than in Denver! I especially like your comments on money exchange your are spot on! Bravo. Like another commenter has stated, the Corridor has quiet hotels to stay in but you need to rent a car but it allows you to get out to some of the best "locals" beaches which will be empty on the weekdays. (Palmilla, Santa Maria, Chiliano and Tule) to name a few. Hope this helps people understand Cabo better. PS While in Cabo....renew your Costco membership in Cabo....its $26 dollars and works at home. No Pasa Nada and Paz :)

      As someone who lives on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea where sea food of all kind is part of the Mediterranean diet, generally speaking what you must be careful is with “shell fish” fish is fine, but this ethos is applied all around the world.

    My wife & I live in San Jose del Cabo during the winter months and you're 100% correct. Things typically cost less in pesos because they don't have to exchange your dollars back to pesos.
    For tourists who don't have a Mexican checking account, the best place to exchange money is the Banca Mifel. It's about a 5 or 6 block walk from Senior Frogs. They exchange dollars at the exchange rate with no fees even for non-account holders.
    As for safety, nothing ever happens here. The sidewalks aren't the best in downtown Cabo, so you'll see the occasional drunk tourist trip and fall. And a few times after taking visiting relatives out for a late dinner, we've seen drunk tourists who flew down together, arguing with one another.
    But for the most part, that's the extent of the drama. We've been snowbirds for 8 years and have never seen any crime significant enough to make the evening news back home.
    Lastly, the beaches on the Corridor & in San Jose are not nearly as touristy, so you don't have to deal with any of that "street vendor" nonsense outside of Cabo. Next time, if you stay at one of the nicer All Inclusives like Le Blanc or Grand Velez you won't experience any of that.

You have a great camera. Back to the Marina! Good to see that the marina is a WiFi zone. Hotel on the Boardwalk. Would you, could you give a video on renting a boat and the prices in Cabo San Lucas? I personally prefer the Tourist Corridor -- cheaper hotels -- you'd need to rent a car (very affordable) -- but everything is either off Highway 1 or a main drag to Todo Santos or La Paz. Eat with the locals, don't always go where the tourists eat -- you'll not only save money, but get more authentic food. Try the micheladas, yum!!!

    San Jorge casa de cambio to get pesos. Great rates, like 18.5 when the full rate is 19.7, as an example. I've been going to Cabo for 20+ years. I always rent a car and have had a great time exploring😎. Be polite. Learn some Spanish. Treat people right and they'll treat you right. The only folks I've seen get ripped off are either really drunk or really rude or both. Like don't stumble out of El Squid Roe at 3 am and expect "regular" prices🤣

    THE TOWN OF CABO SAN LUCAS IS 100% SAFE YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT if u have commen sence and are from a city like New York where you are cautious of ur surroundings to begin with you will be absolutly fine you do not need to use the hotel concierge for everything you can venture out and do ur own thing and find deals and everything with no issues

    • @TRUMP2024WOOT
      @TRUMP2024WOOT Před 3 lety

      Also never had an issue using a credit card in cabo only thing is it's a little confusing because the prices are in pesos only at some restaraunts the more popular places give you both Usd and peso price on receipt but some dont so make sure you know the exhange rate so ur not getting ripped off again if you have commen sense and ur Not a sucker you will be fine just make sure you know exchange rates because some vendors will try to say it is x amount of pesos but tell you what it is in USD and it will not match up so just make sure you have as much information as you need to keep urself from getting ripped off
