Nice built but you need a rose joint gear linkage. Under acceleration the engine tilts and the linkage twists that's why you struggle to change gears. A hard polly bush at the front engine mounting also helps a little.
Many ppl dont realise that & especially with a golfy when the motor tilts u struggle with gears obviously if u have it long u figure out how to work the gear changes but if u do things rite then u don't have to struggle & hit ur gears in or have a certain way of changing especially with a race car u want things to.go smoothly & gearing is like the most important part when u race
