I think it was D standard tuning. I don't do tabs, can't stand reading or writing them, so I learn everything by ear. The best hint/tip I can give is learn each part slowly, don't try to play it fast right away, gradually speed it up until you're comfortable playing it. Oh, and practice, practice, practice! :-)
