Minecraft Railfanning: Traincraft Railcraft Immersive Railroading [1.7.10 & 1.12.2] - Fast and Slow

Today I did my first bit of recorded Railfanning in Modded Minecraft! We start with Traincraft [1.7.10], then visit some Railcraft [1.12.2] and end with some beautiful shots of Immersive Railroading Steam Locomotives [1.12.2] with some sunsets (on Minecraft Gauge Tracks)!

As someone who will stay with 1.17.10 for the rest of his life, Traincraft is the best in my opinion. It doesn't feel out of place in a Minecraft world. The trains look blocky, but in a good way. Not to mention the easy to learn mechanics and the other neat additions.

:/ Apparently I got a strike on this video due to a 'dangerous link', the link in the description is for the official Sildurs shader pack page that I used in the video. If anyone knows why this got flagged please let me know.
EDIT: The issue was resolved, it was an incorrect strike (likely automated), and it has been removed.

@@generalsquirrel9548 I can do a video on Railcraft with more trains passing each other with some automation. I might not mix Traincraft with Railcraft's automation right away, even though RC is really good with automating stuff, Traincraft gives me a lot of trouble when setting it up for videos 😅. Maybe if enough people like the Railcraft video I'll do one with both.

Another mod that bring the player the possibility to build trains is the create mod, its actually the one that I use in my modpack, and I think it looks really nice even without shaders or texturepacks

I haven’t been able to get traincraft to work since 1.7.10 was originally released. It was one of my favorites. I’ve been making due with immersive railroading since then

🤔I'm not sure about survival on 1.7.10 (maybe with IR since it's for 1.12.2). But was thinking about making a creative server with Traincraft and WorldEdit (could have Railcraft too) that fans can join. What are your thoughts on that? Everyone can build their own railways/towns in creative

The locomotive is "c50 Diesel Locomotive" from the resource pack "Small Gauge Goodies for Immersive Railroading" for the mod "Immersive Railroading". The mod and resource pack are in the description

I have 16 GB of ram in total, with 8 GB allocated to Minecraft (some times less). The IR and Shaders packs I used are linked in the description.

How to the train go

To drive the train it needs fuel
Steam train needs coal and water
Diesel needs diesel or bio-diesel, and turn on the engine
Electric just needs redstone
To open the train inventory press R. When the train has fuel and is on, use W and S to move and stop. The parking brake can be used to keep the train stopped when going less than 10km/h
