Looks amazing! Cider is special stuff. Never thought of slushing it. But I am a weird person. Cold drinks, I love. But slushies and ice cream, which I love, give me killer frozen brain syndrome. Have to keep hot water nearby to cure it. It's all very silly

Just freeze, then blend!

I find for the perfect texture I need to churn the liquid as it freezes. The frozen Ice cream container freezes the liquid nicely very quickly.

That machine is way out of my price range but I did have a thought. What if you chilled the glasses before filling? It would seem to delay the liquid showing up.
