Yes you have correctly identified that saying “ why did we do that” during a game is a terrible way to identify problems and raise your win rate. There are ways to do that that are significantly less combative.

im low elo but i find a lot of the time people will just buy whatever they can. I'll say "i'm saving " and at least two people will sell their guns. a lot of people just buys guns bc they can afford it and dont think about next round until it happens.

I’ve been a cypher one trick for a couple of months now (ever since my Bronze Age in August 2023) and I had to fill smokes on my diamond rank up game yesterday as Omen, and I had SO much fun. I didn’t care that I was 17-20 kd and I clutched a couple of rounds that I couldn’t have as Cypher. I’ve seen a couple of your omen videos (the random smoke and aggressive tp one was my favorite) and I’m seriously going to play Omen for a couple of weeks since the attack playstyle of omen and cypher are quite similar (aggressive lurks + duelist trade) and I just think he’s super fun. When do you recommend I should submit an omen VOD?

As far as I know, shorty is acceptable depending on how much money you have, but the shorty was nerfed and you have to land those 2 shots perfectly when you get out. Most of my Yoru main friends go with the bucky, or if we're really down bad, just the right-click classic and a dream
After Nerf, the shorty isn't as valuable. Bucky is a lot more likely to one tap, that said you can use shorty if you want, just make sure if you got a main gun to have your settings on chosen weapon

"Furthermore since this is a practice routine, it is not intended to be played prior to your in-game VALORANT warm-up and matches, but rather the last thing you do before you stop playing and ideally before you go to sleep."

To the best of my knowledge why hooj said it was a 50-50 was that the sheriff can one tap you for 145 or 150 , so it's either you kill the opposition (50 percent chance ), or you might get one tapped be it intentional or accidental ( 50 percent ) Now if it was a ghost you would get one tapped for 105 leaving you with 20hp 12:29 ( which gives you a fighting chance against someone without shield and a ghost that has to 2 tap you ). Plus closer range is really good for classic Higher elo folks pls do correct me if my answer is wrong by any means 😊

Hi I'm not sure if this is a dumb question or not, but why does one person having a sheriff during a buy round impact your chance of winning that much? I feel like the chance of you winning after buying up a rifle when ur team is saving and (properly) hero rifling outweighs the odds of you losing the next round because one person can't fully buy. Why does the buy always need to be synced?
When one person saves, everyone saves/light buy. If one person forces, everyone forces. Your weapon determines your playstyle. Any eco gun will NOT be able to play as aggressive and as flexible as a rifle. When you die with the rifle while the rest of your team is saving, there’s no trade because your teammates have stingers and sheriffs and bucky’s, what are they gonna do against two vandals holding a site? It makes the 50/50 gunfight NOT a 50/50 because when you die there is no trade. One person with a sheriff while 5 other have rifles basically means you’re playing in a 4v5. Do you win those often? No. It’s a massive disadvantage. Save with your team. Play weird. Hold rat angles. Don’t engage in fights that aren’t good for you. Stay close if you have a stinger/bucky. Be the refragger with the sheriff. Go long range with the marshal. Every gun has their strengths, and you have to play to those strengths.
My rule of thumb (as a bronzie) is if I can't full buy a rifle with full armor and atleast one extra util aside from the free one, I'm just gonna buy a sheriff and half armor. I lose a lot but it guarantees me that I have rifle atleast after every other round.
Your head peeks the corner slower which gives the enemy ample time to react and one tap you. Peeking out fast makes your head harder to hit. While also allowing you to use peeker's advantage properly. At least that's what I got out of it (S3).

if the rest of your team cannot buy this round, you are already at a disadvantage. There is no point in full buying because it is very unlikely you will get to use the full potential of your kit if the rest of your team cannot capitalize on your economy. Say in your scenario you buy up and every one else saves. 80% of the time you're going to lose that round. So once next round starts and everyone is in position to buy again, everyone else should still have leftover credits in case they need to buy up again next round, while you will most likely have to spend all of your credits to buy up for full armor + vandal + full util. So what happens if you lose again? Everyone else will still be able full buy while you will either have to settle for half armor or half util and you are all desynchronized again. The point of buying with the team is to not only allow your team to play in sync, but also, yknow, "build your economy." After all, "your" credits aren't necessary "your" credits...THEY ARE OUR CREDITS *USSR theme plays*

Woohoo help I’m stuck bronze 1-2 even know I can clutch get 30k’s and have W call outs but I keep getting teamed with teammates who are iron 1 and don’t know how to use the buy menu or don’t know what their util does or just have bad aim, that mixed with throwers and smurfes got me hard stuck what do I do?

did the yoru ult meta change from "shorty + ult" to "bucky + ult" ? I am still learning how to effectively use "shorty + ult"

It's basically playing with a 4v5 at that point. If the economy is not synced, you/your team will lose fights because of the weapon diff
