Georgina, have you thought about getting "Ellie" tattooed on your wrist? What you said about purpose, you're dropping down into Soul questions. I mean we have to grieve at a human level but learning more about the journey of the Soul gives deeper meaning to life and the experiences we have. We are never victims at Soul level, they are all part of our learning here in Earth School. And you're right, when something big happens you have to make sense of it all, everything doesn't mean the same anymore. In time you will be able to enjoy that simple things in life again. I think you are doing fabulously!!! You are such an inspiration.
A therapist might help. Church can also be a great place for healing,help and comfort.

I believe that your purpose -beyond the role as mother, partner and friend- is much the same as for all of us: to use the gift that you have honed, to entertain, channel and express yourself, to teach and inspire. It needn't be more complicated than that. It bothers me too from time to time, that the simple answers can feel like cop-outs. But truly, we make a big difference in people's lives by just being ourselves and doing what we are good at. We're all inextricably connected and thus we give a purpose to others by making our own "mundane" rings on the water.🦋
According to the famous behaviourist/psychologist Maslow, self-actualisation is a perpetual process without a true end, and I think it needn't have any utility or purpose beyond itself. So the purpose becomes self-improvement and moulding oneself into the person we see ourselves as. I'm not sure whether you are familiar with Abraham Maslow's "hierarchy of needs" that attempts to explore what motivates us as humans ... in my own experience it helped me think about stuff in a healthier way when I was feeling lost and without purpose.
Sorry for blathering on, I just wanted to express that I understand the emotion and thought pattern that you describe, and empathise. You are not alone. ♥
Remember, too, that you are a teacher. One of the most noble professions in my honest opinion. Huge respect to you! My late grandmother was also a teacher.
Without her insight and attentivity, I would not have found my own gift (reading/writing, language learning/tutoring) until perhaps a decade later. Teachers matter to their students
during the students' entire adulthood, even if they might not consciously acknowledge it. Be proud 🤗

I'm sorry I went quiet last night on the live, but I was at work in my office, then my bleep went off so had to go to A&E to deal with 1 issue, then go to theatres to deal with another issue.

If it's a 24 hour ECG it's really easy, it's like a normal ECG except it has a little power pack that you have to tuck into your pocket. You can do everything except get it wet, and they normally want you to do things so they can see how your heart works rather than lying still! The biggest issue with it is just the leads coming out of the bottom of your shirt!
Do you think vlogging is cathartic for you sometimes?

It may not be advisable for you to get a tattoo with your heart condition as there could be an increased risk of infection (such as myocarditis ) so you could always use this reason not to get one if it's not really your thing !?
Tattoos are not for me either even though my daughter has a few "interesting" ones 😁
