What is “worrying “ is that I didn’t see any wax injection of the interior enclosures, sills etc like Mercedes used to do so effectively.
Maybe explains why modern Mercedes rust…

I own an X167 GLS for 3 years already and I can say that the quality control at that assembly facility is under standards. From windscreen washer tank cap not sealing and spilling the liquid every time you have to break to sharp edges on the plastic trims fitted on the steering wheel.
Second row seat if moved forward to allow access to third row seat will expose a dangerous sharp edge from the seat bracket. Second boot compartment door left with screws not tightened.
Aircon inlet port leaking. Right side front door not aligned with the other body panels. Window seals not seated properly and having the pleasure of experiencing a window that does not lift anymore.
I do not even want to mention about the 12 recalls the car had in 3 years time.

Is not the Americans fault. They're being rushed to reach high numbers and they don't really take the time to train employees. This video doesn't really give you the whole story. It was made to show you the positives. That plus they have no union. I've worked at that plant and I'm telling you this from my own experience.

What are you talking about? Mazda have factories all over the world like everyone else. Maybe your specific model is manufactured in Japan but not everyone is. They often choose a specific factory to make a specific model or models while a factory in another country makes another one.
