- بارعة علم الدين صحافية سياسية حائزة على جوائز عديدة. سجّلت حضوراً لافتا ومؤثراً في كبريات مؤسسات الإعلام العربي والدولي. حاورت شخصيات وقيادات من كل العالم، وبنت صداقات مع أسماء بارزة ضالعة في عالم السياسة والقرار وقد وُصِفت ب"بئر أسرار". كانت آخر صحافية تجري مقابلة مع رئيسة وزراء الهند أنديرا غاندي قبل اغتيالها عام ١٩٨٤. هي زوجة وأم وحماة جورج كلوني.
مع "ريكاردو كرم" برنامج حواري منوّع يستقبل ضيفاً أو مجموعة ضيوف، جميعهم ملهمين. يهدف من خلاله ضخّ الحماسة عند الشباب عبر الإضاءة على مواضيع أو حكايا تشكّل مصدر وحي لهم حتى يقولوا :"أنا ايضاً أستطيع".
Baria Alamuddin is an outspoken, award-winning political journalist from Lebanon. She has been making waves in the media world for many decades, and is best known in Middle East, the US and UK for talking tough with cultural icons, heads of state and religious leaders till she was dubbed as the "Well of Secrets."
Memorably, she was also the last journalist to interview Prime Minister Indira Gandhi before her assassination in 1984.
Beyond her career, she is a wife, a mother, and the mother in law of George Clooney.

Très Belle femme intelligente et intéressante.
She knows therefore she does not believe. Very nice episode. Enlightment was a cure for populations that critically questioned. (Critical thinking that is). We the Arabs till THIS DAY still do not. In every street in the arab world there is an artist, a writer, a scientist and a great mind that settled for :"I am not good enough, I cannot become or overcome, the habits and customs. The what-would-people think of me if I even dare to try or even think". ELACE, The Cradle of civilisation got stuck in the mud. Heartbreaking...heartbreaking.
