  • Hello Magic Keepers!
    Today I am sharing my system for storing Tim Holtz's Idea-ology Baseboards! I know some of you have asked me about how I would store these and I think I've come up with a system that works for me! This one is a bit more involved than our Ephemera book, so get ready. LOL.

    I love that idea. I do something similar with my die cut pieces and my embossing folders. When I get a new die set, I cut all the pieces out and then put them in a self adhesive photo album, each set of die cutouts getting their own page. Same with the embossing folders; when I get a new one I emboss black, kraft, and white cardstock and put them in a photo album. Then when I need inspiration, I look through the photo albums. Being organized makes creating easy. Thank you for all you share. Your art inspires me!

    What a great idea! I current pile them in a tin storage box and it is hard to remember what I have and find it when I’m creating! Anything that allows me to SEE my stuff - helps me use my stuff!!!!

    Yes! I spent two evenings organizing my ephemera in my new mixed media pad, and I ended up with my baseboards not having a home. What a great solution, and I’ll be at Staples this afternoon picking up 5 mil laminating sheets! Thank you for doing the research and sharing the results. 💜

    This is such a great idea! I have a laminator, the 5 mil sheets, wide binders, and lots of baseboards to organize. I only need some thick cardstock and I’m good.
    Thank you for ALL your lovely inspiration!

    Awesome! You are always taking it up a notch! I do something similar (stick right to card stock and put in vinyl notebook pocket…inspired by your ephemera notebook) but it looks like they stick much better to laminated card stock and looks so beautiful! Curious to see how yours hold up over time…can’t wait to redo mine…thanks so much for all you do for our Magic Keeper community!

    Love this idea even though I don’t own any base boards. I did implement your sticker idea in my mix media binder and LOVE IT! But this gives me ideas to use it for other things so thank you so much!

    Wish I had a laminator! Love the idea, maybe I can put cardstock in a thicker vinyl page protector and get a similar effect.

    This is such a great idea. At first, I thought you were going to laminate them. Then you could just cut out the one you want. But your idea is better since the laminated cardstock is reusable. Btw what type of adhesive do you use? Thanks for sharing your ideas for storage.

    This was such a great idea! Thank you! I have since crated a binder storing my ephemera & baseboards using your methods and it is so much easier to see what I have now! How would you store the transparencies/acetate ephemera? I guess using the same methods, and it would actually be easier to remove the glue tape?

    • @juicychristians
      @juicychristians  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Oh yay!!! Okay. Don’t use this method for transparencies! The tape will destroy the ink or whatever they use for printing. I’m working on something that I think might work but still testing it.
