Demo on installing fuel injector sockets/sleeves on my 2001 ranger 4.0 sohc. I learned about these after a vacuum leak caused me a lean mixture code and I had trouble locating it.
How can I know if the port is closed to no debris is getting in while removing the sleeves ? I gon paper towel in there right now but I’m afraid rubbish will get in as the sleeves break to pieces
Hello! A question... what failure causes the deterioration of this rubber? I have an Explorer 4.0 and cylinders 1 and 3 fail due to excess gasoline... as if the injector were direct... the failure of that rubber increases the entry of gasoline into the combustion chamber??? greetings!!!
Hi. So this broken sleeves will cause a vacuum leak?? I recently replaced all injectors all seals and now truck runs worse I checked fuel trims and still shows I have a vacuum leak some where. I did notices some of this sleeves where broken in half.

An EZ out will keep from getting debris in and will be way faster
Thanks. I was wondering why mine wasn’t going in
Good info . Thanks
Thanks for the video. Was worried I was gonna snap the new injector sleeves. What kinda grease r u using?

They absolutely can. I hope this was helpful for you.
It’s unmetered air just like having a bad intake gaskets.
