Sad I missed the live stream but caught the replay during my early morning workout. Buy Stuff Arcades is a tremendous asset to our community. So many great options to choose from to improve your arcades. I absolutely LOVE my T2 converted to a Space Invaders Retro Shooter cab!!! The artwork is amazing, and the kit so easy to install. I am glad they mentioned that the 19" monitors used in their upgrades are 1280x1024 and their LCD controller board is programmed to output 1280x960. Their plexi covers the bottom part of the monitor that does not get displayed for both PC and stock A1UP PCB.
However, I wish they would make this disclaimer on their site when selling the 19" monitor upgrades. On their website they state 19 inch 1280x960 and 'Resolution is ture 1280x960 or 4:3 ratio'. It does display 1280x960, but active area is not 19"...more like around 18.5". Better to put something along the lines of monitor displays 1280x960 resolution, but playable area is only around 18.5".
Explained this to someone in Facebook forum and person stated he may have reconsidered purchase if he knew was only 18.5" instead of 19".

Oh snap! Been trying to find a way upgrade my ALP screen. Need to find out if my ALP board is 2.6 or not. If not, may need to say goodbye to the stock games. Either way, this is awesome!

@@PDubsArcadeLoft It's my OCD, lol. Then I'd have to change all my screens to 19" so they match. Plus, I'm probably the only person who likes 17" just fine w/out going larger.
I’m looking to find out how I can modify an arcade 1up with the raspberry pi 5. Is there a tutorial on this somewhere?
I have a question are they in the process of producing a board that will allow you to use the playfield monitor of the Legends pinball without having to replace it? I am looking for a good setup since it looks like the old Legends pinball is going to be forgotten. The sad thing is I bought it 6 months ago before I knew about the 4K coming out

I just got a big blue Street Fighter Cab. Can't seem to soft mod it. is anyone having the same issue? i just did the input lag mod. but I can't seem to access the mocro sd to load nova or retro arch

They need to start building/selling complete DIY Pinball Cabinet kits. If they could make a real looking cabinet in 32" and 40+" flavors with lockdown bars coindoors etc they could do well.
That could be a heck if an investment for them, but they would probably make it pretty cool looking
Thank you for this and thank the great engineering and fabrication of these guys and their whole team. I'll definitely be upgrading my HD ALP play field unless I happen to leave this mortal coil, which would be a bummer to miss out on all the goodies they are developing!! 😁

@BuyStuffArcades Will you be selling the monitors if we don't want to source them? I had my OG board go bad and replaced it with a newer board? How would I tell what board I have? Any idea of pricing for the kit with or without a monitor?
Middle right side of the motherboard when you open up the back door. Version number is printed on the board. Haven't quite finalized the pricing yet.

BSA are the greatest enemy to my wallet in this entire hobby. I want everything they release. Ill be in for the RR PC mod for sure.
