The little stories befor the build are great and so is the actual build.
Thank you, I'm very happy to hear that. :)
Seth Villalba how do u make corner stairs for the decor
@@Aaron-km3wg what do you mean? Can you point out where in the video.
@@sethvillalba7917 4:16 the bottom spruce stairs the ones on the end are turned
@@motionmix289 I'm sure by now you already know but just in case, you just look in the direction that you want it to face. Like if you had a row of stairs then get on the right of those stairs and place on it would automatically connect. Sorry for the late reply lol.
Beautiful landscapes+Beautiful cinematic+ Beatiful construction= this video
Thank you! xD
Could you please drop a material list next time
Just count the blocks xd
@@l0f1567if its so easy then count them ans tell us
@@philippgamerone Easy on there bro, I was just kidding lol
Its quite hard to do in survival but its possible. Took me like 2 hours to complete it because of the materials and didnt have good scaffolding.
Edit: its difficult on console
If the materials are difficult to find just swap them out for something else when building. That’s what I normally do and it still looks the same, just with different blocks
Ladders and water buckets are a survival builders best friend
Yeah, took me about 4 hours (had to smelt netherack) the most annoying part was the staircase inside
You guys built this in HOURS?????
Macaroni Slap ok i really thought i knew everything about this game but... you can smelt netherrack?! since when??
Fantastic build and editing, there was no unnecessary loud music or effects, just what was needed. Only problem was some of the placements were a little hard to tell with your shaders and textures
Everything in this video is just so pleasing, the storyline, the building, everything. I really like how you showed us how many blocks to build by using different colored wool, that was really unique and helpful.
Love how you show the materials and the scale of the buildings, it helps a lot when building. Found you looking for a wizard tower for my survival base and I think I found gold looking for copper
I really enjoy the looks of this, I never really enjoy looking at tutorials but I needed some ideas, thanks for the inspiration man! Keep up the good content!
This video was actually a great tutorial. No loud music or annoying voices, simple easy to follow instructions, nice little prologue. I'm definitely subscribing now.
OMG you are actually a godsend. Just the quality of this video and how you make it simple yet complex at the same time. People like you deserve to fill peoples recommended. Keep up the great content.
Good guide not many tower guides on youtube. I mean the guide doesn't hold your hand completely or tell you exactly what mats are for making it but I'm grateful.
I built this tower in my world. Thank you, mister! Such a beauteeful creation!
I love that you name everything used. Thank you
Thank you for this! Even if I didn't make the exact same build I needed a lot of these tips for it and your vid helped a lot! Plus the format you use is easy to understand! I hope you make more!
i love that with each minute tutorial gets more and more figure it out because from the start there was the thing that showed you tall it is and at like 5 minutes it isnt even there and i literaly spent like 10 minutes trying to figure out what magic you were doing with the wood near the top
I usually cannot follow build videos without dialogue to help me. This was amazing. I love your contrast blocks for scale and placement, the materials at the left. And the music made me so nostalgic for SNES Sim City. Thanks for the build.
This video deserves more views and you deserve more subscribers! Keep up the good work and congratulations for putting so much effort into your videos! :)
nice tower. I recently defeated the end dragon and I was looking for a building to put the dragon egg. I turned this tower to ender dragon egg tower in my survival. thank you :)
building this for the exact same purpose
Gonna be honest isn’t the easiest tutorial too follow- not shit talking the guy it’s a insane video and build
Agreed. There were parts that were changed later that you didn't metion.
@@olanjones9256 the stairs
mmm,yes
Honestly i think it serves better as to give some ideas on how to build one
I think that Yohey made it ridiculously easy to follow lol
I thought I clicked on the wrong video haha. This was a weird tutorial, but good weird. And the tower is amazing. I have been searching for a good cylinder-shaped tower and I think this is the best one yet. There are lots of designs out there with a lot more detail but they don't get the basic shape right. You nailed it.
I love your tutorial so much! Many tutorials don’t really have a way to show you how high you need to build you out like white and black wool so it’s so much easier to tell how much blocks I need to build higher!
This build kicks ass man, bravo.
Awesome! I love the little stories for every tutorial!
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoy the little stories. ^^
The build and video style are both so charming and whimsical. This has given me some ideas!
I managed to make this on survival! So beautiful. Thank you!
Just recently completed this in survival. Did not use all the same materials, but definitely followed the blueprint and I am insanely satisfied with the result! This tower is wonderful. The only thing I'd like to "improve" would be the enchanting table. Not enough bookshelves close enough to get it to max level enchants. However, it is aesthetically pleasing placing it there.
I absolutely love this Tower Design! I love the medieval theme all around and I can guarantee this will be going into my survival world! Could you maybe do a blacksmith/forge thing in the future?
lmao i made a forge in the tower, i found space to make an additional floor, and inside i put like furnaces blast furnaces, anvil, couple of smith villagers, a blackstone themed space, a bit of lava and iron bars. end result looks cool
Lots of inspiration here. And a wonderfully chilled video. Thank you
This tutorial was great. Easy to follow and even did the interior! One request would be to include the total resources need so I can collect everything before I get started.
YESSS
I find so many without material lists and it gets frustrating
Hey I've been subbed to your channel for almost a year now Yohey and I love the "story" direction you've taken with these videos. I appreciate these builds very much. Thank you!
Thank you for being my subscriber for so long! :) Glad you enjoy my videos.
wow, this video is so easy to understand! love it!
Great work! So much efforts in this!
I like the checkered lines on the side so it helps ppl understand how tall it is without any voiceover, smart ngl
8:53 there is an error first you had half block between the cobblestone block above the slab and after the cut there was an entire block of space
how tf do u fix it
@@alexanderrebelojr.8338 it's annoying, idk how to fix it either
Hello, I know this comment is from a month ago. But in order to fix this problem you have to take the last stair out before the wrap around. The do the wrap around where you just took the regular stair out. This should fix the problem.
@@selim3895 Before he starts looping, take out the last stair and loop where the stair was
your builds are nice bro, hope you start bubbling up more keep it going!
You are my favorite builder. Thank you so much for posting these! :)
Thank you for saying so! I'm glad you enjoy my builds. :)
wow,it's amazing!I love the small, warm buildings!Thank you!
*small
When i want to build a house i open ur videos first im obsessed ❤️ its amazing !
It is beautiful, I've build it today (in survival, lots of o scaffolding needed and it is a great landmark
Very cool. Nicely proportioned and detailed
Very nicely put together!😊👍
Thanks for the tutorial! Giving it a try ✋
Found it easy to follow in survival compared to other tutorials I’ve seen:)
Awesome, looks great!!
cinematic was cute. nice build, but the tutorial is hard to follow along with.
Hey, i love this tower, I don't agree with people complaining about it not being clear what to do, I also love how you can change the bricks of the roof and it still looking good, but I personally built it with a bit more texture, by sometimes adding some andesite or mossy stone, this will give your build a bit more life. Keep up the good work😊
This tutuorial sucks
@@ineednameforthis4506 xD why? its easy to follow and the end result looks pretty good. Ofc its just a base, you can add more detail as well as more floors in the tower, and a terraformed landscape around it but still good
Thanks, bud! It really helps, It seems hard but it isn't! I have an lil island and cured cleric villager.
This is for him!
Bro this Channel is so underrated…Keep up the good work!!
Congrats for the effort you put in this video. Great outcome indeed!
Dude I just found your channel, and boy oh boy am I glad!!! Awesome content, awesome builds and super cool music 🎶 love it, keep up the good work 👍
good medieval tower. thanks for the tutorial. i'll use it in my first short animation
I'm making this in a survival realm I play with my friends, and it's really cool. The plan is to make medieval builds, and I'm planning to make this an enchantment tower, I really like this, and it's a lot of fun! Thanks
I was going to do the same what other things die you do i need inspiration
Good job,man
all around amazing tutorial, a materials list and saving the sharers till the final reveal would seal the deal ;3
Well done. Very fun to build. Thank you
Very nice build! I will ad this to my fairy ocean monument base!
Really Great build!
This is an amazing way to make a build tutorial, I’ve never seen anything like it. Thumbs up for sure dude, great work :))
Thank you! xD
Best tutorial style ever. You need a lot of patience & effort to do these kind of tutorial.
You earned +1 subscriber ❤️😝
Great Job Bro!!, Keep doing more tutorial for us. I'll support you!
Thanks! :)
very poggers build and tutorial, mate. i'll be using this design with my own palette for some fun creative builds in the future :)
I like the choice of music it makes me nostalgic for some reason
Thank You For this beautiful design 👍😀
I love the backstory. I love the background music. And I'm going to make this with some tweaks for my husband ♡ thank you!
This is a great build tutorial. I had to improvise a little because I’m using 1.12.2, but this made a great place to put my stuff for Thaumcraft.
I love this video, i love you. Thank you!
Wow. Best type of tutorial....Thanks.
I've made a few edits to my version of this tower (even though I like the main chamber at the top of the tower, it mostly felt empty ^^; ) and added things like a crooked chimney/fireplace at the first floor. With the chimney I made it all crooked and twisting is so that the smoke doesn't pile up when it hits the main roof of the structure. Plus, whenever I see a house or tower with tall spiraling chimneys, I just think magic. And yes, the fireplace does use the blue nether flames because magic and it's also where you cook, smelt down stones and wood, and melt down ores.
However I hit a snag when trying to add an additional tower; a floating tower. This small tower would be the enchanting area for the wizard in mind, that all that magic is holding that one tower up rather than the tower ripping itself off from the main tower and come crashing down into the ground from its weight. The ideal appearance of this tower would be somewhat similar to what the main tower top looks like, but at the bottom there is a series of glass in shades of blue to try and create a magic crystal like effect. I may have to use Sea Lanterns to produce the bluish white glow at the inner core of the crystal and go from there.
On the floor under the bedroom chambers, I was thinking of making it as either a small storage area using either barrels or brown shulker boxes(the texture pack I use turns brown shulker boxes to look like crates) or some form of balcony or sitting area with a window or two. It depends on the structure and how it would look. I've also added an additional floor or two, mainly just a library and lounge. But then there's the addition of the basement by which I've made that into a secret area for the more darker theme of magic, nether portal, redstone dust, ritual alters, and other necromantic themes. With the area around the nether portal slightly being "summoned" and "corrupted" the area that's around it with Nether blocks.
And to tie it all up, I also plan on making ANOTHER tower like this in the Nether, but instead of the normal blocks that I use(if you were wondering; Stone Brick, Stone, Cobblestone, Oak Log, Spruce Wood Plank, Brick) I'll use the bricks and stones from the Nether to make it like an opposite, eviler variant of the tower with the original portal inside. Think of it like going in an out through a mirror lol
Great tutorial! Thank you
Great job! Thanks for the build it looks awesome on my base
This helps a lot
The cat was a nice touch!
So cute, great build you deserve more subs💚💚
Thank you for the great Vid
I love your builds and your videos. They really make me want to try to get better at building!
Thank you, happy to hear that my builds give you some inspiration! :)
Simple and beautiful
Loving this
You changed a lot of stuff without telling us making it a nightmare to follow
Finally someone gets it
Wow, this is so underrated! Amazing build!
Thank you! :)
@@YoheyTheAndroid :)
This tutorial shows how to make a pointy circle roof and a spiral staircase. Two things that are pretty difficult to do imo. Thank you for this!
What is so hard about this video my 7 seven year built this by watching video seems simple to me y'all big dummies
@@jrock1863 says the big dummy who can't formulate a sentence correctly XD. But don't worry. I would also go online and make fun of people if I couldn't talk normally. It's sad harsh life I imagine.
I don't know if I am confused , but there seems to be a discrepancy between 8:54 and 8:56 regarding slab placement for the stairs.
Yea I'm trying to build it right now and I'm seeing the same thing ._.
If the discrepancy is because there appears to be a bigger gap between already placed slab and wall between said times, it's only due to change in camera angle. If you look close enough at 8:54 you'll see the gap is there. Maybe the shaders they used are/aren't helping see this too. Hopefully, this helps!
i just made 3 stairs instead of 4 and it worked out perfectly
I love this tower thanks for the tutorial😍👌
Thank you, I'm glad you like this build! :)
Thanks, now i can build a tower for my thaumcraft and ewizardry modpack
Waaa i was struggling trying to do a tower for myself. This video is sooo creative ... what am inspiration i hope someday i can came with buildings soo beautiful lile this one wow.. thanlyu so muchhh 💜💜💜
Love the build I made it in my mideval survival world and im gonna use some of those other builds thanks
Thank you for this beautiful build. I just love it! I built it in my world and it looks sick. Ps. You got new subscriber :)
Tnx great buil very simple and to the point can't wait to see more
You don't need a materials description for this one
Hello! wonderful build and entirely possible to do in survival, currently in the midst of building it while posting this comment, however I do have one suggestion, it would be a whole lot easier to do if you could list the blocks and amount for each block needed in the description to gather prior to the build, other than that the video so far is really great and the build is looking amazing not even half finished! thanks for the tutorial!!
nice build bro!
You put so much effort into your videos, i love the cinematics, the builds and the stories.
Also, what kind of shaders are you using?
Thank you, I'm very happy to hear you enjoy my videos. I'm using BSL Shaders. :)
Good build takes forever
The story is so cute and the music
great tuto
for this build i used polished deepslate and acacia wood in my opinion it looks very good
The alternating wool patterns in the roof were a right pain since no warning was given when a switch was made. Had to recheck each layer at least seven times
this video should get a lot more views for how much effort and time you put into this. keep up the good work. (I'll even give you another subscriber😉)
I like how the way u teach how to build rather than famous streamer
This was one of the most calming tutorial videos I've watched, thank you for this gem. Very Final Fantasy musically themed music
This is pretty hard to follow but it looks so cool
thank you!! wow!
