This is BY FAR the best video yet. I must steal/borrow these ideas for my own Etruscan/Maltese underworld terrain project. The only changes I would make would be 1) transition the brown color to a greener shade as you go down towards the floor, and 2) give everything a matte spray to get rid of the sheen of the cured texture paint. Other than those two points, this build is absolutely superb! Thanks so much.

The loculi / alcoves came out great. And that texture paste recipe will come in handy for an upcoming project...... You know while down there, a skeleton even got in on the act. He told me a joke, it was quite humerus....

The Catacomb walls really add a lot to Catacomb tiles from last week! They more than double the creepiness factor and really give an added dimension to the whole build! I will definitely use your texturing paste in the near future! Does the baking soda add any strength to the mod podge strengthing effect on the styrofoam? Now I can't wait to see the third installment! To me, the scariest aspect of catacombs is the threat of getting lost in them! You might think of adding that in to your game when you play! Two thumbs up John! Awesome!

@@TabletopWitchCRAFT *_I've had my coffee now. What could work is a pole fastened to the floor and celling, with each level being on it's own board(Top layer is the city on one board, next board is the man-made dungeons, then sewers, then grottos,)being on it's own "slice", that you can move away as the brave adventurers go down, down, down into the deeps. It won't be too heavy as it's all XPS, but it needs to be strong, so the frame might need to be made of metal, I think. Also, you'll need A LOT OF ROOM for this, haha._*
*_It would be easier to just have each level on a board that you lift and insert into a gaming table, then remove as the party goes down into the deeps._*
*_Or, just do what Ryan Devoto did in his basement._*
