They are good cars if kept up properly. Not saying it's your fault. I'm currently looking at a 2018 MKZ. Those things are just gorgeous! Ford is doing good things with Lincoln. What I really wish they would do however is an MKZ coupe or another continental coupe.

'32 Lincoln Zephyr better than a Chrysler Airflow? The Chrysler Airflow did not come out until 1934. To me, the 1934 Chrysler Imperial Airflow with that huge waterfall grill was the best of all the 30's cars. Edsel and Henry Ford both knew the Chrysler Imperial was better than the Lincoln in craftsmanship and engineering. Edsel would ball his fist every time Chrysler Imperial and Lincoln was used in the same sentence. Lincoln was a good brand like Chrysler was a good brand, but they took, some say stole, so many ideas from us at Chrysler it got to the point were we almost stopped comparing Chrysler and Imperial with Lincoln and went after Cadillac.

Good history, but it should have begun by mentioning that Henry Leland created Cadillac in 1902, and that he and his son, Wilfred, stayed with Cadillac for a while after William Durant acquired it as part of General Motors. Then Henry branched out on his own to create Lincoln. Thus, TWO of Amerca's great luxury cars were created by the same man. BTW, the 1957-8 Eldorado Brougham (probably Cadillac's response to the 1956-7 Contintal Mark II) was priced at $13,074.

Hard to support that statement, given the same man created both. Maybe you could say Henry L. learned from experience. I certainly agree GM has made a mess of Cadillac. Leland would roll in his grave. I’d love a Lincoln based on the Panther platform, but unfortunately all I can afford is an old P71 Crown Vic on that platform. 🙄
