The idea of immigration is to supply population to whole of Canada and it doesn’t make any sense if people clog in to just one province or city Ontario and Toronto respectively. Definitely if success stories come out from more people like you people tend to think about other cities

This year we are lucky getting warm fall in Alberta
I have lived in Edmonton for 6 years and Toronto for 3 years...I can say weather is very different in Alberta..
Starting from mid October till mid April ...night time lows reach to -5 to -30 and that's what makes Alberta winter mornings brutal compare to Toronto where night lows are still within 0 to -10 range and that too just from mid Dec to mid feb..
I would say southern Ontario winters are way milder than any other part of Canada except Vancouver

Don’t fall in the trap of living in Calgary. In Calgary you’ll be flipping burgers or working in Walmart jobs. Also for higher positions Calgary employers doesn’t pay much instead people are forced to work on low wages as of no opportunities. If you’re earning basic in Toronto then you can survive in Calgary, but think about that in future when you want to sell your home for more money and you will not be able to sell it for more or it would not give you any equity, as Calgary is building 100 of new communities. Price is same. However if you buy an apartment in Toronto or GTA, you’ll be able to make money from that and move into big home. But sorry for Calgary, it’s hard ti sell and make money, instead you’ll be get same amount of money. Think wisely according to future! Calgary market has nothing to offer, even for getting jobs you need reference.
You are 101% correct. I have lived in calgary for about 10 years. And this is the first time ever the home prices have gone up and that is all because of shortage of supply. Once recession hits and you cannot find any job, people who have purchased the homes in 2021 and 2022, will not be able to sell that even for the same price they have purchased. I feel so sorry about those. I am glad that I have left Calgary.

Tough its just been a week. But with what I have experienced so far and in our last years trip, avoid core downtown as its more commercial and attract more homeless people (specifically the one under drug influences) but if you want to enjoy the downtown feel then prefer inner city communitues like Mission, bridgeland, etc. Or to enjoy calmer environment then go for North west or South West quadrants. Even South East is really good now

Its not just about moving to a cheapest place. But a place which provides a good balance in my opinion. Though never visited edmonton but have a fee friends been there a couple of times and had shared their experience that Calgary is a lil better than Edmonton giving you a big city vibe and a small town vibe at the same time and anyways there more job opportunities in Calgary as of now.

In my opinion, people can live in Calgary on a rent-only basis and purchase a home in Edmonton instead - all it takes is one wise financial choice to put you 10 years in the future or the reverse. Spend some time on it; it will be worthwhile. I'm from Ontario and want to invest in Edmonton

Haha, the stuff might not have even arrived yet for sharing the experience :)
For inter provincial move it generally takes 2 to 4 weeks for your stuff to arrive. So we are expecting it to arrive between 15th to 20th. So will be able to share the complete experience only by then. But you can see the move out experience with our movers in our previous videos 🙂👍🏼

We got our stuff delivered from Toronto to Edmonton in 6 days
