I really haven’t cropped much on a Q3 output, but shall try. BTW, I too have a Z9, which I use for wildlife n action photography. Q3 is for my everyday photography including landscape photography, nature, street etc. it’s really fun to use it.
What camera do you use for making your CZcams vids? I've been considering a Q3 for awhile and now have saved enough money to actually buy it, so I am (gulp) finally about to make the leap.
Hi Joe! I am a bit on the extreme side for gear, I have the older model of this, Gitzo GT2545T Series 2 Traveler Carbon Fiber Tripod with Center Ball Head. I have had it for 6 years and use it every day for my real estate shoots. I rarely use a tripod when I shoot my Q3 but this tripod is so durable and light and folds up so nicely! I have 2 Z9'S but I have used my SL2 for some. I know you will love the camera!!

Peak Design travel tripod is excellent…expensive, but if you have a Leica…
I had a Sirui travel tripod, which works well for Q3. I have even used a Gorilla pod for Q3, which is really useful.
