What difference does it make if he is alone? Every Roulette spin is completely independent from the last and from the next! THere is no advantage to having other players unless he is trying to cheat somehow by swapping chips or something.

You scatter you chips. The outcomes are random therefore you play accordingly. It was my favorite game when I lived in Vegas
First, whoever narrated this is laughable. The casino typically would rather have a full table and lots of action. True, the game is faster with less bettors, however a good croupier can speed up the game even with a full table. Second, what in the world is wrong with putting down a large bankroll. (as long as you have a frequent player card... earn those comps baby...) Third, it doesn't matter what pattern the bettor makes, or if he strait up bets every number in the dozen, every single bet on the table has the same odds. When I looked at his bet that the narrator chidded him on regarding betting the dozen instead, if some of those numbers had hit, he would have made more than if he had just bet a single chip on the dozens.... The only "mistake" I see on the video is the fallacy of the idea that what happened in the past spins affects the current spin. Each spin is an individual outcome, and it doesn't mater what happened in the past. He is playing on a single zero wheel, which is smarter than playing a double zero wheel. EVERY SINGLE BET ON THE TABLE HAS THE SAME HOUSE EDGE. Bet how you want. It's your money.

You see where your odds don't go down betting by yourself your rate of play goes up. When your at the average game of roullete your going to have to wait a bit between spins since the dealer has to cash in New players the dealer has to pay out wins for multiple players etc.... playing by yourself the game goes by way quicker and since the casino has the edge in roullete the more games you play the more money your likely going to lose.
My first time playing roulette I was on an empty table and made great profit 300 to 5k max 200 bet mainly playing outside payed good but started to lose once the dealer clocked out

You fail to explain how playing alone changes your odds. It does not, therefore it is not a mistake.
When you play alone the game goes much faster. In a game like roullete where the house has the edge your going to on average lose more money playing alone cause your going through many more games than if you played with a group of peoppe. Your also really not gonna have that much fun since roullete like craps are really fun because they are communal games.

Hold on, some casinos have the gall to add a 000 spot on the wheel. It is an 11 t o1 outside bet for any green, but still. It should be banned by the state gaming commission.
I agree, don't play alone at a table. I've seen a croupier guarantee to hit a number....and did. I don't think it's impossible for croupiers to be able to hit numbers at will. At a crowded table, bet side bar bets against the other players so if the croupier is aiming for the empty spots on the table, you'll cover.
It happens. I one time walked up to a random table and looked over to the people I was with and said "I bet $100 this is gonna hit on zero". Was so confident it was gonna hit zero i pulled the bill out of my wallet. If I had known they would have taken the cash on the number and I didn't have to get chips first, I would have placed it there on zero. It Hit. Sometimes things like that works out.

Average down strategy is the best strategy. Only (Red/Black) or (Odd/Even) its either way just choose only one color to increase probability statistic rate at least 90% chances of winning rate vs 10% chances of losing rate.
I'm a newbie in roulette, I played on a roulette with 0-00. I bet on red/black with 10usd every spin, played less than 10 spin and I won 30usd and quit😂

And three even though at the start of this video it said it was criticising davo as a newbie not davo himself the tone in the voice over seemed a bit direct and not so much advice giving more telling. None of these "mistakes" as you call it makes any difference to the math involved in the game. The only big mistake you can do is betting on 36-37 numbers in one bet. Otherwise than that the house have the same "2.63" edge on you no matter how you bet, given the roulette wheel is perfectly randomized.
Nowadays they even use magnetic field to push or attract the ball against certain areas.. Where the house earns more money. Not too strong force as it must not be visible to the eye.
I do like the first strategy though, don't play alone and don't show the big buy in you go for. Mix it with other players bets so the house don't really care where the ball lands. Then it is close to random.
I like to bet on hot numbers, or numbers that I see come more often than others. I also try to see the speed used from the dealers and guess the area I believe it will land on, that's also guessing and not solid enough to really be a strategy.
Roulette is a gambling game, you accept that you have a disadvantage, but enjoy they gambling aspect of it. Don't bet what you can't afford to lose, use it to something fun.

I was a dealer for many many years this is the advice I would give you top tip is don't play now if you do play with a dealer that spins the ball from the last number wait until the dealer starts hitting a section of the wheel.

Interesting comments. The reality is that roulette is a random number generator. If you play long enough you will always lose. Playing with other players or showing your bankroll makes no difference. There are a few ways of making the odds worse. I saw one player putting 10 pounds on every black number. When zero came up he lost all his money. If he had put 180 pounds on black he would at least have only lost 90 pounds. And saved time in placing his bet. I explained this to him. He repeated the bet and zero came again! Don’t bother with roulette. If you want to gamble in the casino stick with blackjack. On the horses just bet on top grade non handicaps. The markets can make you money if you know what you are doing. way i play (no better than any other) is say 100 dollar buyin, put 10 on last 12 made, if it wins i let 30 dollars ride, if that wins i take down 80 and start over, using same last 12. This is way to play not analyzing much and relaxing. And my favorite reason if i get down 10 units (100 dollars, i quit) is great way to control bankroll.

If u look it goes 0, 32, 25 I think, ect.. so if u put 16 1$ bets down on like half the friggin wheel, ur more likely to hit and you'd be making 20$ every spin. And only lose 16$ when u miss. 17 Is the most popular number because it is in the centre. Natural inclination is to go for the centre whether you are driving a car, walking on a sidewalk etc.. Also, the least bet number is either 1 or 3. This is because ( depending on angle of the table ) they are the nearest to the croupier as he shovels the chips off the table.

The reason why he’s not play on the outside because he played for split bets and trios which pays out more on combined odds then one of the 3 12s or any outside bet. Also playing on an empty table helps you to better effectively execute your strategy, doesn’t affect the odds, and Coloring Down or Up on $5,000 has no effect on the odds neither, and coloring Down or Up on $5,000 is common in a casino even if you are asked for the ID. The only thing that would bring a lot of attention if he was doing multiple strategies to affectively alter the odds, and not giving his ID when coloring up or down on $5000.
If anyone found any actual value in this video, I'd be surprised. Math is math. That doesn't change regardless of empty tables, betting strategies, or any other thing pointed out in this video.

How to play roulet is as follows. You only hit once. If you lose, you must go back and not stay. You up to select 1 red or black box. You notice if the black is much. then you put everything in the black box. You must stop and go right away.
