  • You WON'T BELIEVE these Prices - VW Transporter Campervan Conversions - Brand NEW Campers For Sale - Better Spec & Safer - DVLA Motor Caravan
    Are these the best VW campervan conversion? Take a look and find out! These vans have all the features you could want (Expensive quality components, not cheap options) and more, making them the perfect choice for anyone looking for a high safety and high spec motor caravan.
    With a DVLA registered motor caravan, amazing value and high safety ratings, these vans are the perfect choice for anyone looking for one of the highest safety and highest spec campervan conversion on the market. Take a look at these amazing vans and see for yourself why they're the best! I will explain in more detail in future videos, exactly why this matters, why its important and the rigorous testing process, these vans go through.
    The van conversions are more comparable to the VW California Ocean as they are Whole Vehicle Type Approved.
    NCC Approved
    These are Brand New vans. The buyers will be the first name on the logbook, which is registered with DVLA as an M1 Motor Caravan. No grey areas with speed limits, no insuring your camper as a panel van and having trouble with a valuation. These are type approved.
    The prices are crazy. Many vans being sold as "Ultimate van", "High spec" "top of the range" "Best camper van" "The best camper you can buy", however alot are just all show, with money spent on the exterior and a basic interior conversion. These vans use good quality components with RIB Bed, TUV Approved pop top with a Sprung Froli bedboard and quality mattress on top. Comfort and functionality on the inside. Exterior modifications can be done after purchase if you wish.
    These campervan conversions are cheaper than a VW California Ocean, but they have the sliding door on the correct side 😉
    I will be doing more videos on these conversions, detailing the safety aspects, how they have been strengthened (This part shocked me), why your crashed tested be MAY not be as safe as you think and also going through the options available during build and also after registration (as a camper on V5 logbook, how amazing)
    Looking for a Brand New campervan, this may be the bet value for money and safest you will see.

    It's a good package, but I'd encourage everyone to try out the new Ford Custom Nugget layout first. With the kitchen in the back of the Nugget, you can stand to cook whilst the pop-top bed is in the down position, and you can prepare food whilst 4+ people are seated around the table, because the're separate areas, it is really a very good layout. The kitchen work top is higher than the VW's so you're not bent over cooking.

      I am glad that gou mentioned thus as I only learned about the nugget this week. I love the layout - especially with double sliding doors and a small loo at the back. I wish there was more stock and I need more insight into resale value.

    Quality! Good to see honest, safe builds like this. Really wanted a Cali and nothing was getting in the way of that dream but I had to be honest - it felt like a car, was overpriced, and a bit soulless which is ironic considering the history. We thought the Birchovers were very good; safe and sturdy lay outs at a great price very much like these. I share your view - Couldn't believe the flashy 6.1 conversions at the show, some for over 90k! Yes there are lots of high end finishes and a market for it but generally, the conversion side will perform no better (which is the key factor). Lay out that works for you and safety is everything to start - you can pimp it up later ...

      There is one particular van at the moment that keeps popping up on social media. Looks amazing from the outside, but the inside consists of cheap bed and cheap furniture. Why? They are selling campers, their showpiece should include everything of the best quality. Also seeing some of their vans up close, they are poor quality and they sell with big price tags. This isn’t a unique example though, I could name several companies doing the same.
      Vans are so personal though, different buyers look for different things. There are equally many companies creating amazing vans with quality components, great craftsmanship and I would happily recommend, albeit none as well priced as these.

    I was gobsmacked at that price. I’ve been looking at at vans that were 20k more than that. That’s certainly food for thought. Plus it’s a motor caravan so you can drive at car speeds, unlike van conversions that have to drive at light goods speeds.

    went to look at this camper this week its a bit basic surprised there is no BBQ point on the gas tank. all the spot lights work off one switch nr the sliding door could not find a way to turn off the lights individually especially the one above the bed..opening 2 doors to get stuff from the fridge would be a pain
    the double sink cooker is very cheaply made the glass tops rub together so they catch and don't sit flush when open.
    its best point is the pop top bed fantastic for a comfortable nights sleep.
    the worse thing no handle to pull down the roof you have to pull the rope ties . good value if you buy the 90ps model at 50k but 63k for the 150ps DSG model is to much for a camper with such a basic interior. not that keen on gas heating either..

    • @StaycationLifestyle
      @StaycationLifestyle  Před rokem

      i have asked the question regarding the BBQ point, as that is something I thought would be beneficial. The double sink is the expensive SMEV, so surprised about that.
      What you say is the worse thing, is actually one of the best things. Handles are fine if you are tall, (or stand on front seats) and are strong, but if you are not, handles are not good. The pulling of straps makes the pop top much easier to close than those with handles. It's actually well thought out. When you say basic camper, the components in this are all highend. I'm going to look into the lights you mentioned (however i know that the new model is different)

    • @vanagon1966
      @vanagon1966 Před rokem

      @@StaycationLifestyle when i say basic i don't mean cheaply built. just bland .
      the dealer didn't know how to turn off the light above the bed without using the main switch near the sliding door.
      i thought it was a Dometic hob and sink both the glass lids rubbed together so when lifted up they are not flush as one lid lips over the other.. basically the lids need a bigger gap between them..
      the straps were quite hard to pull i think a handle is easier .they could fit one then if your short you could use either..
      as i said great value for a budget camper

    • @StaycationLifestyle
      @StaycationLifestyle  Před rokem

      @@vanagon1966 yes Dometic is Smev, I will look at that and the current lights. It’s because the straps hold it in place for each tug rather than a handle which is either up or down (personally I prefer the strapless 😀) I get what you mean bland, but it’s certainly not a “cheap” camper. There are a lot of California parts within it, Victron electrics, Froli upper bed, RIB seat/bed, these are not what are in standard campers. I’m not 100% on the LPG heater either. I have some other questions on the conversion to which I am collating of “why did you do this etc”
