  • In this video, I’m having some fun blending two sounds that probably don’t belong together, and it’s just something that popped into my mind - mostly as a crazy experiment. This all started with my attempt to mimic the famous THX sound called “Deep Note" on Nord Stage 4.
This sound is included in the course called Master the Nord Stage 4, available at www.MyKeysToMu... (late 2023). It can also be found as a post on my Patreon page: / mykeystomusic

This is actually pretty cool, could you do this on the Stage 3 even though it only has 2 synth layers, and the A1 lead synth?

I have a Stage 3 and not thrilled with the key bed, it gets loose and klunky. Is the Stage 4 better mechanically? I know it has the triple sensor now but is the Fatar key bed improved over the Stage 3?

It's still a Fatar keybed. Which version of the Stage 3 do you have? If you had the 76, then yes, the NS4 is better than that version, in my opinion. I have a Compact and it seems about the same as the Stage 3 Compact. I have a Piano 5 73 which is likely the same keybed used in the NS4 73 fully weighted. That one is very good and plays great. In summary:
NS3 73 Compact versus the NS4 Compact: (about the same)
      NS3 76 HP versus the NS4 73 Fully Weighted (the NS4 is world's better)
NS3 88 Fully Weighted versus the NS4 88 Fully Weighted: (the NS4 is the same or a touch better).
In general, the NS4 is a slight improvement over the NS3 based on how I listed it above. However, they are more the same than they are different.
      * As far as heavy-used and durability over time, it's too early to tell how the NS4 will hold up.

Hi. I’ve been looking for an “FM Marimba” Sound. I wonder if there’s any to that sound. It sounds very mid to late 80s.

@AirsoftCGMiku you have really good ears to correlate this. I'm happy about your post because I was completely clueless about what a "Titan Speakerman" was which encouraged me to spend about 45 minutes researching all this. I walked away with an appreciation for the art and creativity of this animation series. I was living under a rock, and now I feel enlightened. I also have to give Kudos to the animator for choosing the song from Tears for Fears which I grew up with in High School. Thanks for your comment - I learned a LOT today about all this.

@@ViolenceGaming666 Yes, that's what I discovered. I've now watched several videos from that series and have a better understanding of that art. Pretty darn creative I have to say.
