- You want to do something out of the ordinary? If you come to Vienna in Austria you have to visit St. Stephen's Cathedral and the Underground Cemetery, the catacombs.
I was one morning in Vienna, Austria and find out some really nice places to see. If you travel to Vienna there is a couple things you must see and I will leave the names below:
Kaisergruft Wien
Burggarten Wien
Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien
Naschmarkt Wien
Donaturm Wien
St. Peter's Catholic Church
St. Stephen's Cathedral
The last 2 places were the places when you travel to Vienna I was most amazed with. The St Peter's Church is beautiful and when I was there it was still with the Christmas arrangements so I loved it.
But the things I rally wanted to see here in Vienna Austria came last because they only open at 10am. It was the north tower in the St Stephen's cathedral and this North Tower has an amazing view over the city. You can take amazing pictures from there.
The after coming down from the north tower I went on a tour on the underground cemetery or catacombs as some people call it, under St. Stephen's Cathedral. This Vienna catacombs are a cemetery under a church and the crypts there go back to more than 300 years of age.
So if you don't know what to do in Vienna for a day here you have, there are many things to do in Vienna. There are so many things to do in Vienna Austria that you will be amazed. The are the best things to do in Wien, and if you know any more on what to do in Wien Austria write it down below.

Thank you for watching!
I visited that church and those catacombs during my backpacking trip through Austria and Germany in 2004. Mozart was married in that church in 1782. The room full of bones was nothing like I've ever seen before. Yes, worth the price of admission for sure!
I didn’t know about Mozart actually, very interesting fact! It is worth the price indeed.
I was in Vienna this past winter, loved that city!
You are a professional, excellent. Plus you give the details and numbers it helps to budget. Thanks a lot.
Thank you very much! When I remember I always give the numbers, but if I ever forget just write a comment asking and I’ll reply. I read all the comments.
Going to play a concert here with my youth orchestra next week and I’m SO EXCITEDDDD thanks for the cool insite on what the place is like :D 👌
PedroTravells thanks :D!
@@_alicia__ so, how was it? :D
Holyyy crap I recognize this voice! Its the same guide I had just 2 months ago when I went there ✌
OMG that’s cool man
What camera did you use to shoot the catacomb video? I've been there in 2012 and I remember how dark it was in the underground catacomb. That's an incredibly clear video for such a low light sneak shot. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, I used a Sony A7SII, it is quite good in low light
@@pedrotravels No wonder! But how did you get away shooting with a full-frame mirrorless camera? It's not particularly an inconspicuous spy camera. The guide didn't catch you shooting or did he turn blind eyes on you?
How do you sign up to tour the catacombs
What happened to the music you previously had in place of Nocturnally? And what was the name of that music?
I went under the cathedral too!
Where exatly the entrance of catacombs are located? As far i know its not public, but id like to see catacombs too someday.
Saab Railfan I haven’t been to Austria is 3 years so I don’t exactly remember, sorry
Saab Railfan the entrance is inside the cathedral itself- I think it was on the left side-
@@manjam3232 yep it is. I found it really easy. I almost ended on tour to roof.
4:21 that music sounds so cool. May I please ask for the name of this song?
Stephansdom is a Cathedral not a church.
If you don’t know, a cathedral is a church the only difference is that instead of being lead by a priest I lead by a bishop.
@@pedrotravels and it's called a cathedral instead of a church, in case you don't know
@perepasqual4467 it's still a church 😅
U r brave
Catacombs at 3:30 :v
