I got a seat in JoSAA for NIT and I paid 35000 seat acceptance fee and 45000 program fee.
Now JoSAA is over. I registered in CSAB for 5000 rupees. If I don't get a seat in CSAB in the first round, if I withdraw my JoSAA seat now, how much will I get refunded?

7000 will be deducted from SAF as the processing fee by JOSAA.The rest of the fees (28000) of saf will be compromised for sref that is you have to pay 17000. And as you have already paid PAF, you don't have to pay the IAF-2. I hope the calculations are correct. The amount required by you to pay will be already displayed on the csab page. I hope the information is useful

My daughter has been allotted chemical eng in NIT Calicut and has accepted and opted for float....She prefers to go for CS/ECE/EEE and will wait till round 5
If nothing is materialises till round 5 will try in CSAB
Our query
Incase EEE /ECE/CS of NIT Calicut is not listed in CSAB can we opt for the same in choice filling.. If seats are not allotted in round 1 & 2 whether we will lose whatever allotted in JOSAA . Pls clarify

If you have already paid SAF and PAF, your seat in JOSAA will remain allocated for you. Otherwise that seat will be cancelled. Since you are not interested in chemical engineering in NIT Calicut, you are not required to pay PAF. We will only lose seat in JOSAA only if seats are not allotted to you in CSAB round 1 and round 2. So for choice filling, make sure that you opt for the courses which are better than the one allocated to you in JOSAA.
