Igris was juggling jinwoo like it was a circus act 😭

Details left off:
- Jinwoo's glove had special effect of "preventing hand injuries/hand dmg immunity" that's why he hold Igris sword.
- Igris felt a lot of pain in the eye in the moment he got stabbed, that's why Jinwoo was able to push him, Igris even showed "anger" in the fight, but infact he was still holding back for some reasons only Manhwa readers knows.
- Jinwoo used all of his Mana on multiple Fatal Strike abilities into Igris weak spot to defeat him, Fatal Strike deals critical dmg into the enemy's weak spot or vital organs.
- Jinwoo's passive "Willpower" makes him take 50% less dmg whenever he has 30% HP or less.
That's weird of them to not emphasize some of those things. That's on the director
@@TheHideoutReacts I mean, idk if the watchers would like to see details of every item he gets cuz that takes 2-3 seconds to read and sometimes it can have bad translation, so maybe they're avoiding that.
He has some major items and skills like those I mentioned but he has alot more, he has the skill he got last ep "Advanced Dagger Wielding" which makes him to deal 33% more dmg when using daggers to attack. And he has the "Willpower" passive which activates when his HP is 30% or below, decreasing all his damage taken by 50%
He also has an equipment he got with the Cerberus that is a collar with +20 agility and +20 perception, adding up with the other equipments he got from those knights so he has a lot of protection and vitality.
Most of those things WERE showed in the anime, but it was breefly 1 or 2 seconds, so if you want to know those details you need to pause everytime you see those screens, specially if its a new ability or item. Or you can just watch the anime normally and come back to those parts later in the final discussion about the episode and take notes on it.
It's like a videogame, you have a lots of items and abilities to make you stronger, if they wanted describe everything the MC has the anime would have a lot of yap in the anime taking off time of fights and other relevant scenes.
@@Gheniel_ ah ah ah. I didn't say "every item he gets" Just the Major items like lead to VERY important outcomes of fights. I think we can both agree that seeing "These gloves prevent damage to hands" or w.e the description was, is pretty important to at very least KNOW. If I weren't getting comments on that, I would have never know and it would have just been a MAJOR plot convenience/ass pull. Now, for people like myself that 1.) haven't and wont be reading the comic or light novel. & 2.) won't be getting extra information from fans. That could be a really jarring thing to see.
Now I feel like all the other abilities you mentioned there were done really well in the show. They highlighted the abilities much like they did with the Igris helmet. 20 strength and 20% vit boost. took 3-5 seconds and wasn't hard to understand. IDK. i feel like it wouldn't take much time to go over a couple of abilities. it's not like you gotta break em down and show examples. Plus you only gotta mention em once 😅
at absolute MOST, it'll take 2 minuets. I don't think anyone will lose their minds at Jinwoo thinking to himself.
"Ah lets see, I have Stealth, Fatal strike, advance dagger weilding which improves my damage with knifes. Will power which makes me tankier. and these cool new gloves nullify damage to my hands."

@@TheHideoutReacts no you're right, I was confused to why they show the chestplate but didn't show what the glove does.
In the Manhwa it shows that the gauntlets have the special quality that his hands can’t be damaged. They didn’t show it in the anime, but it’s the reason he can catch the blade.
I think it said that the gauntlets can block slash and stab attacks. I cannot recall accurately.
@@elkinasun Could also depend on translation. I just went and looked at chapter 40 and it simply said “prevents hand injuries.” But then another translation might say something a little different. 🤷♂️
I pray cour 2 adapts the Manhwa

pretty underrated manhwa but it follow similar concept of "gamer" in real world leveling up like jinwoo. it started years ago but had lot of hiatuses and i think it also changed the writers or something but i think its worth reading. Granted its nowhere near level of solo leveling but its not god of high school either. you might enjoy it. Check out "the gamer".

I don't care about the armor. I just wish the fights weren't so predictable in the way we know he is always going to win. He has 1 slight inconvenience every fight and then spends the rest of the time winning. I want to see more struggles and obstacles to overcome. More inner monologue wouldn't hurt either.
Solo leveling is about mindless hype and a one man army/ever increasing op protagonist, it is power fantasy with no innovation or attempts at anything different. Take it from someone that read the webnovel, way back when this fight was being adapted into a manhwa/webtoon, it's predictability is a constant throughout all of the story.
I'm curious, what other struggles do you want? He had the struggle in ep1-2, then another struggle in ep4 against the serpent, another against Cerberus, and now against Igris. Unless you're watching something like Akame Ga Kill, you already know the mc won’t die, thus that alone makes things relatively predictable in most stories.
So its predictable that the MC wont die and will win? Wow what a surprise.
If he doesn't have abilities and tricks up his sleeve how are they gonna make the fight good?
Bro used almost all of his mana in Fatal Strike abilities into Igris, after that he lvl up 2 times but didn't get the heal/mana regeneration, bro was fucked and now he has to deal with thousand of knights, how is he gonna do that, you would be asking... You will see in the next ep that he cant just brute force and has to be smart and lucky.

Turn brain off and enjoy the hype train. If you want more substance you'll find bits and pieces but overall you know what will happen.
