- In all our years of travel, we’ve never been to a country quite like Georgia. Throughout our month in Georgia, we experienced the uniquely (and slightly chaotic) capital of Tbilisi, the towering peaks of Kazbegi, the vineyards of Sighnaghi and the beaches of Batumi. We finally tried local Georgian foods like khinkali and churchkela and experienced the genuine hospitality of the kindest people we’ve come across in our travels. Today we’re sharing some of the realities of what it’s like to travel in Georgia and hope we’ve inspired you to venture of the beaten path and explore this beautiful country!

@@SuperLifemission I’m also from South Africa , planning to visit Georgia in April 2022. How was your trip?
Those people were actually yelling at each other. But yes usually Georgians are very passionate when they talk and tend to be very loud. ❤️❤️
I from georgia too i don know why but i always interested how other people thinking of georgia.
Georgians tend to talk with a lot of passion amongst one another-which to a foreigner might sound like arguing. Sort of like Italians and Greeks.

when you say 'some mosques' 0:59 - theres literally 2 mosques in the whole country and over 10,000 churches
Im so thrilled you had such a wonderful time here , thanks for the kind words and always welcome here in Georgia :) 🤟🇬🇪
Thank you very much for seeing Georgia like this and conveying it with amazing emotion, but you still have a lot to see in Georgia, many regions, for example, Svaneti region, Racha, mountains part of Adjara, Samegrelo, because all regions are different in nature, culture and individual character. I love you guys 😊🥰
Thank you so much! We hope we can go back and see more of Georgia's beauty :)

Thank you for such an amazing video! Your story of travelling in Georgia is full of warmth, positivity and simply beautiful sense of humanity. Georgia is rich of culture, history and most importantly it is rich of beautiful people! Like you mentioned in the beginning of the video - it's unique country. Greetings from Batumi, Georgia!
Thank you so much for the kind words and glad to hear you enjoyed our video! Hoping we'll be able to see more of the beauty of Georgia one day
Thanks from Georgia.glad you liked it
Thank you for your carefully-worded, realistic view of Georgia. And I especially appreciate that you mentioned the prices and about the guesthouse experience.
Thanks for kind words,🙂
During your stay have you got a chance to taste "საცივი", "ბაჟე", "სოკო კეცზე", "შქმერული", "ჩაშუშული", " ფხალი", "ნიგვზიანი ბადრიჯანი" and many more. Our cuisine is definitely not just bread and cheese as you mentioned, it is just what you see other tourists eating. Georgia is a hidden gem which needs time to get explored. Good luck.
thank you so much for your feedback ❤️ much love from georgia 🇬🇪❤️
I’m really happy you Canadians liked my country. I was always curious what you would think of it since I am Georgian live in Toronto since 2015. Good video !

This is so helpful!! We are planning to head to Georgia this year! Thanks for all the tips xx
Happy to help! Hope you have a wonderful time :)
Just returned from Georgia! Needless to say some of the best travel experience I’ve had. The Svanetti region is out of this world. I have to agree with Georgians being some of the most hospitable people on the planet! I’ll have to disagree with Georgian food consisting of just bread and cheese. Yes, there a lot of that, but some of the best things we tried had nothing to do with those ingredients. They have some of the best stews I’ve ever had and the Georgian bbq is to die for.
I am planning to visit Georgia this year, and your information is very useful. Thanks a lot! Sergio from Argentina
Happy to help! Hope you have a wonderful time in Georgia :)
Very interesting. Lovely format. Great information! Thank you.

It's not only European, its the cradle of europe and the roof of Europe, like Nepal is the roof of Asia. Offcourse its Europe

Hey guys. Great to have you back on the Tube. Excellent review of Georgia.... Which sounds an amazing country. We like Fel, would love the cheese and bread... Not to mention the wine 😋. Not loving the sound of those mini van rides though.... We took a few in the Philippines and they were hair raising 😳😳😳!!
It's such a diverse travel destination! And the drives certainly make for a more memorable experience ;)
My brother is going to marry in Georgia. I am from Austria and never left Europe. Guess I am going to enter a new world soon.
So, far, it looks like a nice and welcoming place.
Just returned from my 1-week vacation to Tbilisi, and I must say that I can recommend the county and that city to everyone. The food is delicious (Khachapuri was my favorite), the nightlife is quite lively with a lot of activity, and exploring Tbilisi with a group of friends was fun.
Everyone is also willing to help you as a tourist. Most if not all young people can speak English to various degrees of skill, and even the older generation as well - as most earn their living from tourism. Every taxi driver I have met was capable of speaking English - and the Taxi drivers are really talkative, which is a nice way to learn about the country and about locations to visit ^^
Honestly, I recommend everyone to give it a try. The food is very good but still cheap, so you can eat yourself fat :)
I didn't visit the rest of Georgia, only the capital, but I think I will return there for the rest someday in the future. Made some new friends there, which is always nice.
great video
i am georgian :>
I'm Georgian but live in Toronto... I was always curious how Canadian.. would look at Georgia..

haha we are just passionate when we talk.. We like loud talking. Great content loveed iiit.
Nice video about Georgia, as for "Marshutka" they are fast because they need to get back to Tbilisi on the same day :D I understand them, I had the same experience :) As for screaming, I guess they do not like taking photos while they are selling the stuff some sellers feel embraced, I am Georgian and wanted to take photo with grocery view and they very a bit irritated because they are working and do not want to see somebody have fun in front of them :) Georgia is amazing country, with beautiful mountains, climates, food, culture, language, hospitality etc. welcome to Georgia!
Georgia isn't Europe, it isn't Asia. We're just us. A blessed country without a continent.
But I feel more European either than Asian.
I want to live in Georgia, its one of the few places left where raw dairy isn't banned in supermarkets.
Thanks
best part is on 5:19. Georgia on its best 😀
Would you please suggest guest houses you really enjoyed staying in?
