Woooww the famous Rafflesia arnoldi!! I live in indonesia and I have never seen it in person before.....that's a very rare flower! What an amazing trip you have there (lucky to have a guide that can show you the flower)

Does anyone know any movies, programmes, documentaries... About expeditions and exploring? Desert,rainforest, mountain... Anything, if it includes defenders better still haha
I see you brought your own gear and tents. Did you not want to live in their primitive shelters? Were you glad for the good hiking boots? How many days were you out there? Any suggested/necessary gear you can recommend? thanks for sharing!
Hi Philip, thanks for the questions. Basically the basics would have been enough. Heavy hiking boots was not an advantage and mostly we walkes on tiptoes or sandals. A lightweight tent i can recommend though. It gives shelter against nocturnal crawlers, flyers and heavy rain. Advice: take as little as possible but rememember it can cool down ob the hills/mountains at night. Have a good trip.

Great video, but I think being in a jungle would of been better with the natural sounds. The music does not do the video justice. Thats just my opinion though some people might like it of course.

oui vous avez raison, mais les gibbons ne aimez la présence des orangs-outans et ils ont commencé à faire beaucoup de bruit. L'orang-outan est resté calme.
