Same problem observed in my cbr250r....Honda mechanic took 3 months to identify the issue....got battery replaced....finally they found issue in magnetic coil.....after heating it got short circuited causing battery to drain... ..kaash ye video pehle mila hota. ...good information....

My bike too refuses to start. I can see the light when I turn on the bike but after hitting the self start button there is no ignition. I guess it is the same issue you explained in your video and comments. The mechanic says the magneto coil is not working and the battery is also almost not upto the mark. There are no spare parts available with the service centres be it Thane, Navi Mumbai, Ulhasnagar which I confirmed on call. I hope the number you provided (Andheri West) solves my problem. If he has a new coil I'll get it and have it fixed by the service centre. If all goes positive this would be an awesome thing - thanks for the video and sharing the contact. Hi, can you please tell me the resistance between the 3 pin connectors of new alternator ? My cbr is giving the same problem and service centre is telling its the battery. But the battery is getting charged in other bikes. After a lot of research i think its the alternator. Resistance is showing 5.7 ohm which should be .1 to .9 ohm. Can you please check yours so that i can understand better.

Salaam Bhai, mera paas ek question hai. Meri cbr250r turn on nehi hoti hai aur jab me ignition on karta hu to lights dim hai aur dashboard nehi hai. Jab ignition press karta hu to kuch nehi hota hai lekin light aur kum ho jati he. Me ne battery aur spark plug badaal liya lekin kuch nehi huaa. Ab kyaa karu? Bohut shukria bhai!!

Bro mera cbr 250R start nhi hoh raha. Or if it starts than also when i acclerate it doesnt take pickup and getting off. Than when i try to start by self 5-6times my battery is aslo getting discharge again and again. Battery is new, fuelpump injector body throtle sparkplug everything is new than also iam facing problem. Start hoh jatah hai toh jab throttle martah hoh toh pikup nehi letah or off hoh jatah hai or jyada self marne se neyah battery bar bar dischrge hih jatah hai. Same case happen to me, i changed magnet and then dint use cbr 250 for 3-4 month, now its relay problem as it start on push but not on self start, but main difference between magnet coil defect and relay is if relay defective u can push start and run but if magnet coil burn, it never start on push as well ones it stop.

Welcome to the family bro, zmr stator coil wont fit cbr i confirmed it with my mechanic then i ordered for a new cbr coil coz the zmr which my mechanic had was a dead one more or less like a scrap bike.

Yes u have to change the tyres if the bike is ridden or less ridden the rubber gets cracked n u will feel the handle shaking a bit while riding, things to check during buying a 2nd hand bike well 1st the service record just to check weather its genuinely ridden that much km n to get n idea when was it last serviced, 2nd take a test ride n try to rev the bike just to check the clutch plates are functioning well or is the rpm increasing n speed is less, 3rd over all body check just incase if the bike has ever met with an accident, all TTO set I mean the transfer papers are ok n signed by the owner, check in rto if the bike has pending fines or any complaints against it.

i am facing similar problem.. I hv changed battery regulator. Still not solved. Lets see now. Will check this magnetic coil condition.
Magnet coil is the only problem for battery drain regulator doesnt get damaged easily

I had a + point that my mechanic had a regulator of karizma zmr which is same as the one in cbr to test weather my regulator is working or no so I saved my money on that but bro the magnet coil isn't available everywhere so u might have a hard time searching for the coil

Do we need to replace battey after changing magnet coil
After changing magnet coil charge your battery n then check it via volt meter if the battery is below 12 volts then u might have to replace your battery with a new one but 1st check ur battery n then take a call

As I said in the video the rectifier of zmr is same like of cbr 250r so u can use it for cbr, it is been checked by my mechanic

3) rectifier not working

i think honda dont take seriously cbr owners
reason of this problem-- in service time no honda works tight the screw of this internal part whih is moving around coil and after some time these screw keep lose and make contact with coil and cut the coil wire.
after this happen , they simpley say to u , sir your coil is broken please change it, and you are waiting some days for the reason of unavailibility of this part(they think owners have lot of money to buy our parts).
cbr service is suck even in ncr places.
i phase many problem like this in my cbr250
one time fuel pump rely is not working suddenly and i toy my bike 50km .
finally i rigret and say confidentily i purchase a wrong bike(after availble in india (8years) no machanic availble in local market)
it is a wrost product
This is the actual reason why cbr250r dint get success in india, the spares are mostly not available in the authorised service center, the price of the spares are very high, and due to bad after sales service it dint do well in Indian market, but brother my bike is 8 years old now n this was the 1st time i changed the magnet coil so i felt that its not that big deal to replace it with then old one

@@AdityaVerma-ze8ez nahi bhai there r good mechanics outside as well but the problem in authorised service Center is the mechanics are not that well trained or mostly the company hires interns who just finished their Engineering u can say that its basically lack of knowledge in new mechanics
