  • PlateUp! combines chaotic kitchen and restaurant management with strategic planning and development to create a delightful roguelite dish unlike any other.
    Up to four players build and run a restaurant from scratch, choosing dishes, buying and placing appliances - some of which can be daisy-chained together to create ambitious automatic kitchens - cooking food and serving customers.
    Players have free rein to design their restaurant which will expand and develop between shifts - with additional content and challenges unlocked through progression.
    Can you cook, serve and manage your way through 15 hectic days in your restaurant and unlock a brand-new franchise?
    * Classic co-op cooking action, with a wide selection of mains, sides, sauces, toppings, desserts, and starters.
    *Choose your equipment, lay out your kitchen, curate your menu and plate up your dishes.
    *From bubbling soups to sublime salads, tender steaks to hearty pies, there's something for everyone.
    *Look after front-of-house: seating customers, delivering orders, and managing patience.
    *Equip your restaurant to handle the most fickle of customers and deliver them what they need, right when they need it.
    *Co-operate with your team like a well-olive-oiled machine or build a name for yourself going it alone.
    *Exceed your goals and take your franchise to greater heights at a new location, bringing with you new unlocks and upgrade.
    *Upgrade and rearrange your restaurant to your personal taste: when the restaurant closes for the day, the planning begins!
    *Decide what new equipment to purchase, and place it wherever you want.
    *Want to go high-tech? Install the turbo-ovens, crank up the conveyors, and make way for the robo-kitchen of the future.
    *Fancy something a little more... fancy? Curate your art collection, fix up that wallpaper, enlist a friend as a maître d' and get ready to provide the culinary experience of a lifetime.
    *Exceed your goals and start over at your next location, bringing with you new unlocks and upgrades.
    *Tailor your brand towards gourmet dining, or fine-tune your fast food franchise.
    *Every restaurant is procedurally-generated with its own climate, customers and conditions.
    *Return to your franchise HQ to view your achievements, customise your characters and upgrade your kit, ready for your next adventure!

    "they'll order sides and will pay for the sides" on the topic of metal table... I feel like I was in a game where I was accidentally serving sides and gumming up everything because they would NOT eat the side.

    As someone who serve slow, exclusive is the best choice for me, it really buff the waiting paitence which what i really need. Im also new to the game so its really helpful for beginners

    Thank you for the guide! I never understood the advantage of the metal table before nor have I used automation but I'm excited to try them out the next time I play!

    I want to thank you for making these guides as many streamers/youtubers don't explain much in their content. Quick question. As a solo player automation is obviously important, but which aspect would you recommend to prioritize automating first? Cooking, Serving or clearing?

    • @LoerisOtter
      @LoerisOtter Před rokem +2

      That depends on the dish
      With Hot dogs you really want single conveyor/grabber to automate serving Ketchup
      With Burgers/Hot dogs automation with danger hob and combiners is cool
      With pies you want to automate crust first
      Usually I like to automate some basic part of Cooking, then automate Clean Dishes going into Plate Stack, then aim for automating rest of Cooking

    did they update the game so that double long tables don't leave there plates against your counter?

    • @TheOntarioGardener
      @TheOntarioGardener  Před rokem +2

      You need to manually place the last table next to the counter, in order for the dirty plates to spawn. I assume that’s what you are asking :)

    • @FusicPool
      @FusicPool Před rokem +3

      @TheOntarioGardener no I had two tables connected to the pass/counter. But they only spawned dirty plates to the table furthest away from me and I couldn't reach them

    • @TheOntarioGardener
      @TheOntarioGardener  Před rokem +2

      @@FusicPool so I would try picking up the closer table and putting it back down. The last table placed in the group will have the number and spawn the dishes. If that still doesn’t fix it, you can open a bug report on the discord and someone will take a look at it. Bugs still do exist, unfortunately.

    how do you make all your potential upgrades per round show up outside?

    • @TheOntarioGardener
      @TheOntarioGardener  Před rokem +2

      In your main menu. There is an option for “envelopes to spawn inside/outside”. May not be worded exactly that way but it’s in the game settings in the main menu.

    Is there any sort of tricks to get certain blueprints to spawn? Like if you buy more smart grabbers will they show up more? Same question with research desk upgrades. I swear I played for 3 days straight (on PS5) where evwry single time I upgraded a counter, I would pnly get freezers and nothing else. I actually took a week break from the game because it flustered me so badly.

      Aside from the staples. Like plates and hobs. No. Everything else is RNG.

    how do the tiers on the cards work? like how do they lvl up? Iam totally clueless? is it Items that are paired with the logos on the cards?

    • @halosnova1604
      @halosnova1604 Před 6 měsíci +1

      The levels increase by the amount of the decorations you have in that type. For example exclusive card will level up with the deco that has a diamond. Affordable will level up with the deco that has a burger symbol.
      Sometimes, they have two symbols, and that's fine. In the end, you're trying to add up to 9 to get a maxed card. Every 3 you get one tier!
