Y’all have it wrong. I’ve studied Johnny’s relationship with Vanessa and while they both had a happy 14 years together, Vanessa decided that she wanted to live in France full time to pursue her music career. Johnny couldn’t do that because he had his career in Hollywood so they BOTH decided to call it quits. As for the marriage part, Vanessa didn’t want to get married and said it was just a piece of paper. Johnny said he respected her decision. All these are facts that both have admitted to so it’s not one sided. If your partner lives in France full time then what kind of relationship can you have?? I’m sure Johnny was very lonely and probably Vanessa too. Johnny gave her 150 million dollars after they broke up so she would be taken care of for life. IMO Vanessa should have compromised so they could live half the time in France and half the time in the US but her music was her priority at the time. I also think it’s hypocritical that she said marriage was just a piece of paper and then got married to her current husband. That had to of hurt Johnny in the end.
