    That black and white walk away from the table is a very familiar experience. Walking away from a table that you just got busted from always feel like everything else loses it's color for a few minutes after leaving.

    Betting the pocket 77s full house was not the way to play that hand. You had the absolute nuts. Leave them an opportunity to bluff off to you. The odds of them bluffing into you is way better than them actually having a piece of 722 flop.

    Yea AQ suited out of the small blind is always a raise. By not raising you allow the big blind to call with pretty much any 2 cards. We raise big out of the small bling because we’re out of position so a huge raise would have most likely got him to fold ace 6 suited.

    • @nsomasu
      @nsomasu Před 6 měsíci +3

      Exactly my thoughts! we all do make mistakes and learn from it. So for me you lost the game right there. AQ suited vs a very tough player you have to raise to see where you are at. so against an aggressive player, may be I would raise a little more than 5 big blinds

He’s def jamming AK and AQ here but may also be doing this with non nutted Ax hands and even some smaller pocket pairs. Sometimes we run into JJ and TT. Hahaha 😂 lex I love you and the content is amazing but you played the tournament like a scardy cat lmao 😂.
    Against whoever you play I think especially in a big tournament where everyone is a little more nervous and nitty you should be mixing it up just like you do in cash.
    It makes you way way way harder to play against and is the style you are use to playing.
    You know that AQ hand is a reraise pre.
    Don't give these pros too much credit, they can get felted too.

    • @marcuslarwa9098
      @marcuslarwa9098 Před 6 měsíci

      Exactly that was 1000% a raise and a big raise since he was out of the small blind playing out of position. I also left a similar comment saying he went early to play a lot of hands but only played his strong hands. In a tournament you gotta play mid strength hands as well. Gotta show down with some 89 off to show the table you have a wide range. If every time you win a pot it’s with a big ace or big pair then it’s supper easy to play against and he’ll never do anything in tournaments. Can’t build a stack in tournaments unless you win small to mid size pots and a lot of them. Trying to win just big pots with big hands isn’t ever going to work. Can’t sit around trying to stack second best with the nuts, that shit anit going to cut it. Just by the amount of hands he showed us in this vlog I can tell he wasn’t defending his big blind enough.

    You didn't want to 3 bet with suited AQ but next hand you did want to 3 bet with off suit AK which is only slightly better
    If you 3 bet with AQ, could have folded out the A6 which outflopped you.
    It's not about the results but
    If you're willing to 3 bet off suit AK the you should be willing to 3 bet with suited AQ at which point your stack was larger
    It's like your not willing to 3 bet with QQ but you are with KK
    It seems you just were more passive with very similar hands
    They're both good candidates for 3 bet
    What hands are you concerned about with suited AQ that you are not with off suit AK

    My guess is your aren’t playing enough hands because the only hands you showed us in this video were strong hands. You have to open your range up and play way more hands in tournaments. Winning a lot of small to mid size pots is how you build a stack. You’re probably really easy to play against because the only time you put money in the pot is when you have a strong hand. That’s why they fold when you have bigs hands and you don’t get paid. You gotta win a pot showing 89 off or some middling hands. If I’m playing that tournament vs you and the only time you show down it’s a big pair your AQ plus it would be easy to play against you. You gotta play 57 suite from the HJ or CO, shit like that. You went early to play a lot of hands but you didn’t even lay a lot of hands you only played your string hands.

    In tourneys you can't limp AQ suited. You most likely get A6 to fold if you do raise..this isn't cash lex!

    Money management. Your 10k can produce better results in $ games, especially if tournaments are full of pros. ( less pros in $ games… 😎) what do I know..
