- A tour of my dedicated home theatre. Let me know if you have any questions or want more info about a specific product. This is a currently a 7.6 home theatre system (7 speakers, 6 subwoofers) that runs at 5800 Watts RMS and has a total peak power of 10,000 watts.

All that's missing is 3 people in the front row looking at their smart phones, a crying child, a loud talker, a smelly person. Seriously nice theater.. Great job.

Better than a commercial theater. You have quality all around. The equipment is excellent, and the seating is superior. It's a wonderful room, and I enjoyed looking at it. I love where you put the components too, by the way.

It's now almost 2019 and your theater is still remarkedly up-to-date. You made a lot of good decisions which have held up over time.

You can still do it. You dont need 6 subs and thousands of dollars worth of seats.
You can definitely do it, you just have to get a list of what you want. Then, you save and buy one piece at a time. Being poor just means you have to be patient and takes a longer to get is all. Bring poor doesn't mean you can't ever HAVE, remember that.
Saw all these bad ass gaming pc people had and felt the same way man, last year I saved my ass off and did without a lot of shit. Black Friday came, got deals, cyber Monday came, got more deals, Xmas came got more deals and new years deals came and got the last deals. I just put the parts away until I had them all and February I built that mother fkr and it was voted best pc of 2018. Felt amazing to FINALLY get atleast 1 bad ass thing to have and be proud of.
@@daviedood2503 See that's what I do. Bad part is I'm Disabled and live on just $771 a month in SSI Payments. I'm lucky to have patience. I know that there are times when something goes on sale or sometimes one can make a great deal with a retail store associate that can hook you up with a plan or a great deal on either Audio, or Digital components.

That's a lot of bass you got there! Seems like too much. But then again I've never been in it to listen. As long as everything is acoustically set & everything is calibrated & tuned to the right specs you should be fine. Hell of a job in that room. Plus one for the OPPO & EMOTIVA AMPS!

There's 20 grand worth of speaker, seating, projector, amplifiers,etc... Easily. If he paid someone to build that room he probably has 35-40K into it...

did you do the whole room yourself, or did a professional person come and do it all for you? and how is it that you have no windows in the room? and how big is the room? it does not look super big. But I guess movie theater rooms are not supposed to be very huge right?
TitanicLover93 um, yes theater rooms are huge...in public theaters, if u mean so.
TitanicLover93 The room was designed by me and built by a contractor. I found and do the research for everything and spent a lot of time of AVS Forums for inspiration and tips! There is a window in the back corner that has covered with a few layers of foam. The room that you see is about 25’ x 15’ and the room behind the screen (for the speakers) is about 3’ x 15’

Do you watch at 4k? Also it would be awesome if you could get a crazy good gaming PC and play games in there.

They don't make it you buy it :) I know because I have one.
No single company made this theatre. I hired a contractor to build the room but the design and all AV components were chooses by me

The first give away as to his age is "the movie posters are indented into the wall". Maybe as his schooling progresses he'll learn to speak proper English. It's his parents setup and I'm not so sure dad wants his stuff shown on CZcams or he would have done his own video.

As good as your equipment, setup, and design are; you are lacking just as much in the acoustical treatment department. You can spend all the money in the world on expense subwoofers, front/centre/surround speakers, power conditioners/amps etc, but it will not sound like what the sound engineers of the movie wanted it to sound. Why? Because you will be hearing sounds that are reflected off the walls and ceiling as well as direct sound. This doesn't happen in the theater or the recording studio because they have acoustical treatment. You need to get rid of those posters and get some acoustical treatment on the walls and ceiling. More specifically you need sound absorbers and diffusers, and mount them strategically for each row of seating. Just my 2 cents.

***** For speakers try looking at the JBL ES90/ES80. they are truly amazing floor standing and are only 200-250$.
At least get a 3D Tv for true theater experience
with the money they have spent for this media room i guess they can always buy a 3D Projector and plus they have 3D player.
