So glad the father survived and they didn't all go canibal. I think solar flares are an actual issue and so is any nuclear explosion in the higher athmosphere that would knock out our internet but regular things would still work. if people don't panic and work together they can go on, you just have to plant right away. And not stay in the big cities that are way to dependant on food imports.
very cute. it was funny to watch them make the way to their jobs, break in and wait for instructions. I'm not sure, if we would do that.
What a wonderful wholesome film...no real nasties, just survival, companionship and charity ....if this was a western film guarantee there would be betrayal death and selfish intentions....this was an example of how people should come together in adversity.
So much kindness, idk if people would be that empathetic in the U.S.

Actually during natural disasters I've seen both sides here in the US

From the elevator to the train, electric door, computers, and airport, knowing that there is a power outage how can they expect those things to work. All the energy and effort spent just to get there, only to realize it's not working 🤦♀ And where are the generators?

There is water and food everywhere...
For the citiedwellers... if you only got dirty water... let it filter throught charchoal and then boil it... easy... if it is clear, then just boil it... if it is straigt out of a mountain or just a mountain river ( has to be really cold), then just drink the water

is like when everyone had to stay at home during the corona curfew and the stay at home. Familly discovered themselves new and what it means keeping stuck together.
In the movue case it was harder but the meaning is the same

@@harurubenYes people will become desperate quickly in big metropolitan cities. Just look at LA, even without power outage or natural disasters, everything had disintegrated quickly that people started looting stores.

As crazy as it sounds, perhaps being without power wouldn’t be so bad, if you use your head to be resourceful. You could collect rainwater to drink, as well as creating a fire pit outdoors for boiling water & cooking food. I also like the idea of gazing at the stars, because without light pollution & little cloud cover, you’d see almost every star … as someone who could stargaze for hours, I’d be in heaven. ☺️💖🌌
