- We wanted to let everyone know that we are able to make these videos so well due to the use of an Osmo. And it was edited using Adobe Premier Pro on an HP Spectre. We’ve provided links below to anyone interested in getting the Osmo or computer themselves. These are great tools to help make any video better. Now, let’s talk about travel.
When you visit, make sure you pack things like sunscreen because it does get hot. Carry everything is a safe bag if you're going to be in town for a little while so it's all convenient. Drink plenty of water throughout your day. And stay safe while you're having fun.
On a beautiful day in the beginning of February this year (2020), we set off for a visit to New Hope, a river town in Bucks County, PA, to spend the day like we have so many times before, except this time we brought along our camera intent on taking footage to create a vlog. This video shows what we saw and what we got up to that day. As you walk through the town with us, we share with you the small town feeling we get every time we're there.
New Hope is a historical, beautiful and diverse town along the Delaware River in central Bucks County. Having lived in New Hope and the Bucks County area for many years, we have spent a lot of time in this lovely place. Since it is so picturesque, the only problem we had was figuring out how exactly we wanted to showcase this beautiful little town. Even though New Hope includes more places than what we show, we captured a few favorites and made this video with a mindset of giving you a glimpse of as much of the town as possible in all of it's splendor.
This little video is our way of sending a little love back to all our friends, family and neighbors that reside in this special town that we hold so near and dear to our hearts.
With the great hospitality visitors receive and diverse experiences throughout, New Hope is definitely a great place to visit. Plan your visit to New Hope as soon as you are able. We think you'll enjoy it as much as we do!

Hello, I don't know why nobody made a comment here. Thank you so much for this view of New Hope. I have a short memory of New Hope. I lived in Paterson NJ in 1974. I remember hanging out with a friend who wanted to take a train to New Hope and we went. We were there for the day and evening.
I remember standing on a corner at night by the main street near closed stores all by myself waiting for my friend to come back. I remember feeling a strong sense of comfort like there was a loving entity inviting me to stay. I never forgot that. This is what led me now to look up New Hope. I have to take a trip again.
OceanSound100, we are so pleased you were able to get that from our vlog. New Hope is definitely one of those places that really is a great place for everyone. We've loved being so close that we can visit frequently. I hope you get to go soon. Maybe you will see us there. Keep Squeezing the Day.
@@SQUEEZEtheDAY Thank You! I will try and squeeze the day - Lol
Oh NO! Eddie you have removed our beard. You look so naked. I love your beard. Loved the buildings and the tour. Glad you also named them. New Hope is a gem. Burgers are great when you strike a good one. Thank you for sharing. Have a great weekend Cindy and Eddie.
Hey guys. Glad you liked the video. This was one of our older ones. Back when I had to shave for my job. You should check out the newer one. Still, New Hope is a fan favorite place to visit.
You did a GREAT job with this video and New Hope looks like a place I want to move to. I didn't know it was so close to the Delaware River. The town looks quaint and charming! We only see the finished product...but I know how much time you had to spend editing all of it together and it came out excellent! Keep them coming!
We're so glad you enjoyed the video! We are still super new to making videos, and you are right that it takes a lot of time to get to the finished product. Your encouragement means a lot :) Thanks so much!!
We are going to PA this fall. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you liked it. We have a couple good videos about Bucks County if you're in that area. Check out our playlists. Have fun. Can't wait for those videos.
What an awesome video, THANKS~
Glad you enjoyed it!
I wish I visited this place ! Nice !
When you get a chance, you should. Let us know if you have any questions. ❤
Our Original Home.. Love and Miss New Hope/Lbrtville
We have two videos there. Feel free to watch them whenever you're feeling homesick.
We were just there last weekend! Such a cool town! I can’t wait to go back!
We always love visiting. Any time we pass through this neck of the woods, we go for a visit.
Nice spot for fishing my friend.
They actually hold an annual Shad Fest here. You should check it out.
I loved all the sights of New Hope, what a fantastic destination , only one complaint, we need more burger footage , a big bite and reaction to the taste of the burger , maybe a sip of chocolate shake with it , sorry a great looking burger really sets me off, lol. I enjoyed the video very much, as well as meeting you on RV on the wayside 's livestream last night , All the Best ~ john
I like the suggestion. We are planning on returning to New Hope in the spring. We will have to make sure we get that burger shot. It was nice to meet you. See you on the road.
I miss going to New Hope. We're 30 minutes away in Quakertown, and used to go all the time before the pandemic.
It's starting to normalize now and very much worth the drive. Take the time to get down there before it gets too cold, or plan to take the Santa Train in December. I don't know what their plans for running the Santa Train are going to be, but December in New Hope is magical. Hope to see you there.
@@SQUEEZEtheDAY I was just there over the weekend. I live in central jersey but I love spending time in the new hope/ lambert vile/ bucks county area. About an hour long drive. Are the festivities there in December worth taking the trip out there. I have young special needs daughter who loves Xmas but hates long car rides. I want to make sure it’s worth the drive to come down there in December.
I was there in the summer of 1969, it was like I stepped into another world. Great video - on my birthday.
We are so glad you enjoyed it. We can't wait to get back there to do another video. It's an amazing, world class, location.
Great video👍
Hi friends. You found one of our most popular videos. Also, one of our first. Glad you liked it. Can't wait to get back there to make a new one this spring.
my grandmom lives there i’m only in doylestown so it’s 15 mins away but it’s so peaceful there
Thanks for watching. We like to visit New Hope as often as possible because it's such a peaceful and fun place. There's so much to do there. Also, have you seen our Doylestown video? Let me know what you think of that too. I'd love to hear your feedback on that one.
Lots of cool classic & supercars there whenever I go
You are right. They even have a car show that happens in the summer time at the high school. You should go check that out too.
@@SQUEEZEtheDAY I’ve been there a couple times
I love going to New Hope and walking there even though my family doesn’t like it as much 😂 I live 33 minutes from there but i forget the last time we went
There is a lot to do in New Hope for the whole family. Maybe point them in the direction of a specific interest? What ages are they? Maybe we can make a recommendation?
@@SQUEEZEtheDAY now I’m 21 and they’re separated but in their 50s
@@Michaelengelmann you’re the right age to be going there and hanging out with the night crowd. There are lots of singles, couple, and young families. If you want to meet someone, John and Peter’s, Havana’s, or Triumph are perfect. Date night, I would recommend Marsha Brown to impress our The Green Room to relax. Your parents might like Martines or The Salt House if they just want to relax. Hope you get a chance to get back soon. Squeeze the Day.
So many homes I’d love to live in around there, one is located outside New Hope that my dad has been in for work (photographer)
It's an amazing area with some great architecture. So worth the visit any time of year.
Epic photo haha!
We love this! May we share?
Please do. We are planning another New Hope video very soon if you’re interested in participating.
@@SQUEEZEtheDAY Definitely! What's the best email to reach you at? Our media/PR person will reach out.
