This saved me from waking up every evening because exactly on the other side of my apartment's bedroom wall there's a
heavy door with this thing installed. I decreased the closing speed a little and adjusted the latching to be less powerful and now I can barely hear the door close when neighbors use it instead of feeling like someone is constantly shutting it close with full force.

VERY HELPFUL INDEED ! You unlocked the mysteries of our closer (Geze TS 4000 S). Thanks to this video I have learned a lot about door closers in my journey to fix the main door of our block of flats which was slamming shut in the wind and the noise reverberated around the building to the point where we dreaded people using the door. The closer was poorly installed by a so called qualified locksmith and the adjustments were way off what they should have been. Now all good and we can sleep in peace ! Thanks again

Thank you for saving my day: the adjustment of the latching-action is not documented by the manufacturer.

i think GEZE's are neat because of the window showing the spring tension,
GEZE: PLEASE SELL THESE KIND TO THE STATES!!!
i notice with many european closers they use the degree of control for the speed and latch adjustments (180-10 and 10-0) some here are not labeled or its just S and L, and sometimes still confuses people

It worked ok on the heavy main door to our block of flats - a fire door. Thanks to this video I was able to correct the adjustments (or lack of in fact) made by the installer.
