      Its not only the train...look at the stations. I am from Germany and when i was on vacation in Japan i was impressed how clean their train stations are. There is not litter...not even on the rails...no cigarette butts, no burger bags, no soda cans...

    Running 300km/h is not amazing in Japan.
    Really amazing thing is not delay only a minute.
    After this sentence, I write Japanese.Plz translation.

    I really appreciate the Videos About THE SHINKANSEN. It proves that with Enginuity a Great Raikway System was created. I don't Fly , so Trains are my only way to travel long distances. I love JAPAN AND ITS PEOPLE.

    Japan's High Speed Shinkansen is the The Best in the World. It's not just a fast on time reliable Railway System, It's The Frequency of Scheduled Trains every hour. The System shuts down after 12AM for Maintenance and Repair Every day. REMARKABLE .

    I get a Thrill from watching The Shinkansen racing across Japan at speed of 150 mph to 200mph . The Japanese have such an ordered Society where Respect , cleanliness and politeness are embellished by their people. The Japanese respect the Elderly, Cherish their children and are extremely dutiful. Japan is one the CLEANEST countries in the whole world.

    I was in Japan and had the Railpass for a week and I have to say that it was such pleasure to use these trains because they are reliable, comfortable and super cool....
    I have hope for the German railway companies to catch up to Japanese standards. But the ICE in Germany is actually almost the same speed on some tracks and the price is a bit lower here so I think we have nothing to complain about except for the delays..... :((

    I've ridden the shinkansen more than 8 times while working in the printing industry (U.S.Based). They are absolutely mind bending. It's too bad we can't make it through a town at 35 mph without destroying it.

    Honestly, I want to go to Japan just to see a train like this. Trains in my country go 90kph max. Also, they would probably fall apart if they tried going any faster because of how poorly constructed train tracks are around here

    I don't think I've ever seen a "single-bar" pantograph except on the Shinkansen. They're all a pair of bars with U-shaped connectors between them.

      No hace falta un tren bala en Argentina, sino un tren que funciona bien. Imaginate que me tomaba el begrano norte donde escabian en el puerta y fuman en el furgon. Ahora viajo en estos trenes, igual lo mio es suerte. Saludos!

    Since most captures are from stations, I somewhere read that between the stations train goes at even higher speeds. And that the train slows down when it passes through a station. Is it true? Also if it is true could you provide some videos where train is passing at high speeds in between stations?

      You can try to take a train in buenos aires, 40-70kph with broken railways and delays everyday :P

      This train is only in Japan and a flight there cost over 1000 dollars so you should appreciate this video
