I wouldn't say "wont hit earth", more like "most probably wont hit earth". If it collided with a small object now, that could change it's orbit enough to make it hit.

Asteroid Apophis has interesting similarities to the star (in Greek aster) in Revelation 9:1.
*_Revelation 9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit._*
One interesting coincidence, as Apophis passes over on April 13th 2029 and given it goes through the _“gravitational key hole”_ (“gravitational key hole” is amodern scientific phrase) it will come back in exactly seven years to the very day and _“fall from heaven unto the earth.”_
Interestingly we can read in _Revelation 9:1 ... I saw a star [aster] fall from heaven unto the earth: and _*_to him was given the key of the bottomless pit._*
(More coincidences but concerning the names in _Rev 9:11...whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon_ (meaning destroying angel), _but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon_ (also meaning destroyer.)
Apophis (Apep), is the Egyptian God of Chaos and Destruction (of course given this name very about one thousand nine hundred years after Revelation 9:1 was written.)
But yet another coincident, right now Apophis is categorized as an “Atens” asteroid. However NASA says after it passes on April 13th 2029 it will be recategorized as an “Apollo” asteroid.
Note: _Rev 9:11 ...but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon_
More interesting coincidences of Apophis and biblical scripture by noticing the first biblical Passover.
_Exodus 12:23 For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood [the blood of the Passover lamb] upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will _*_pass over_*_ the door, and will not suffer _*_the destroyer_*_ to come in unto your houses to smite you._
_Exodus 12:29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, [...]_
Even though Passover will traditionally begin the evening of April 11th 2036. It is possible that Passover can be considered to take place at midnight April 11. Making Passover day actually April 12th 2036. So following midnight of Passover of April 12th 2036, will of course be very beginning of the following day of April 13th 2036 in which Apophis makes another very close passover.
More interesting biblical coincidences concerning the years of 2029 and 2036.
On April 13th 2029 Apophis will “passover” the earth.
On April 13th 2036 Apophis will approach again, and exactly 7 years later to the very day, striking the earth given it had gone through the key hole during its passover in 2029.
Now concerning interpretation of biblical prophecies, a day equals a thousand years. Or when a prophecy says a day its meaning is a thousand years.
Example as pointed out in _2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that _*_one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day._*
Many people interpret bible prophecy this way. And many people interpret one of Jesus' parables as prophesying to pertaining to the general time period for his return of two days or two thousand years.
_Luke 10:30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead._
_Luke 10:31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side._
_Luke 10:32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side._
_Luke10:33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,_
_Luke 10:34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him._
_Luke 10:35 And on the morrow when he departed, _*_he took out two pence, and gave them to the host,_*_ and said unto him, Take care of him; and _*_whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee._*
Noting the last verse in Luke 10:35, a pence at that time is said to have been one days wages. Being he had gave them two pence, it thus representing two days pay, and then he would shortly return after and makeup what ever else was due.
Concerning the interpretation of this parable or prophecies in this manner, the meaning would represent two thousand years and a possible short period time following.
Coincidentally enough the year 29 AD is the generally earliest accepted estimated year for the crucifixion and resurrection of the Messiah.
And the year 36 AD is the generally latest accepted estimated year for the crucifixion/resurrection of the Messiah.
By this interpretation, it is hopeful that Jesus should be on his return just shortly after 2029 or 2036 going by the generally earliest and latest accepted estimated years for the crucifixion/resurrection.
However some may say that the parable of Luke 10:30 to 35 has nothing to do with prophecy.
And some might also say Apophis has nothing to do with the biblical prophecies of Revelation and or anything to do with the Passover.
But they dare not say that the similarity aren't very striking.
But the whole world will be watching during its passover.
_Luke 12:35 Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;_
_Luke 12:36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately._
_Luke 12:37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them._
_Luke 12:38 And _*_if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch,_*_ and find them so, blessed are those servants._
_Luke 12:39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through._
_Luke 12:40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not._
Interestingly and puzzling is Luke 12:38 Jesus mentions the second watch or the third watch. But what happen to the first watch?
Well one more similarity with Apophis presented here.
Apophis has been ruled out to strike the earth on its first passover. But the second and third passover remain in question.
All the world will be watching.
      KeepWatch.

If it hits, it could wipe out most of the human race with the calamities that would happen after impact. 2k foot tsunami waves if it lands in an ocean. It would destroy all of Atlanta, Georgia if it hit there. It’d kill 6 million people. The resulting fire blast would kill another 400k people. The fallout would cause a nuclear winter for people who did survive. It would hit with the force of 20k Hiroshima bombs. I just watched another more recent video from another creator who went into very specific depth about this. Time to start marking things off your bucket list or make a list right tf now.

66 million years ago an asteroid hit our planet and killed 75 percent of the life that was here. Countless of our ancestors died either that day in the global forrest fires/tsunamis/superheated atmosphere of 400 degrees/ejecta that turned molten in the atmosphere and rained down like bullets… Or they died in the coming weeks where there was no food.
I honestly don’t think most people know how horrific that event was.

Exactly. They are not worried about this pass and will be using it to study it in more detail to refine the calculations of its path. The following pass in the 2030s is less certain since the information used to calculate the roids path isn't perfect.
Osiris, which recently completed its delivery of the roid sample is now on its way to rendezvous with Apophis and will do a few close flybys over the next decade or so. This will allow for a much closer look at the composition of the roid as well as other more accurate info.

According to Neil De grass Tyson the asteroid will NOT collide with earth in 2029, new more accurate calculations about the asteroid's orbit confirmed it will pass by earth without collision, however, if the asteroid maintains its current orbital trajectory, in 2036 it might make contact with earth, more specifically, the pacific coastline of southern California, this impact however, has itself a very small chance of happening.
