You have really great taste in equipment! The bongo basses in purple are so fun, this is similar to your other dingwall (still waiting to get one myself!), but this is a real piece of art! Absolutely beautiful instrument, can't wait to hear more of what you'll write with it in the future!

Iâm honestly not a fan of the âclankyâ sound of most Dingwalls⊠itâs like theyâre missing something and I canât put my thumb on it. They do look sweet though and the fanned frets are cool. This one sounds and looks great in my opinion. Itâs a preference thing.

Itâs almost like a bass with three active pickups doesnât only come with one tone
@@hvze9848 Dingwall pickups are passive Split coil (like a P bass)
It really depend how you setup it and if you use a Preamp or not. Mine sound like a P bass with a clearer midrange and a tighter low end. But a lot of people use it with the Darkglass preamp on it and lot of high mids which sound clanky
tbh I can't tell much difference between this and some standard NG-3...

@@francoishtzl157 First 5 pedal links that he uses are Darkglass.
@@AlexandarShmex It is what he put in every video. It also say darkglass amp and cab, but the only thing used here is the Dingwall and the Bergantino B|amp straight from the DI to an interface. It was recorded during the NAMM show so he didn't use what he normally use.
If I am wrong I let him correct that, but from what Bergantino told me it is how they recorded those videos.

@@AlexandarShmex Bergantino product are pretty transparent. Sound like the bass, a bit of comp/EQ and overdrive and DI out

With all the effects not much remaining from original bass sound..
Yeah, it's a cool bass, but not "insane"!! An interesting arrangement of pickups to make it a bit different. And as for the tone, you can't really hear it with that much overdrive/distortion/signal processing going on. Great playing on a nice bass. Nothing insane, just a click bait phrase. :(
It is already hard enough to build a bass like that, with that finish and options on it
