for f2p players it's great as they don't need to "chase" for a rage in order to perform better (damage-wise) in PVE contents. I think devs are on the right track in terms of obelisk reworking in this update.
From my testing, 200% proc and 1% mini-rage is extremely close. So it’s basically like being able to play the characters that struggle to proc much, much better and more efficiently.
@@kelvino3990 it also depends on character, a toon that gets almost all damage from 1 skill could be better with 200%, someone like sharog or moonstone. Some with damage spread over multiple skills would be better with baby rage.
@@kelvino3990 If the character is proc friendly, like main damage skill cooldown is 7-8 seconds (with 50% cd reduction), able to chain skills via canceling others into 1 skill, and you understand how to proc effectively with timing… give them a damage proc. If cooldowns are longer, they have 2 or more skills that do good damage, or you just suck at proc timing… go baby rage.

With these mini Rage CTPs, that wouldn't exactly be necessary. Newer players can put them on anyone, especially if they dont even have op uniforms yet.
I haven't seen the comments this lit in a while 😂. People are feeling engaged again. This is exactly the kind of game fix that NM needs to focus on! I also feel that NM is really bad at communicating with us. The "Anger" obelisk is an actual huge deal and it kinda just got lost in the patch notes. Props to Alex and the other creators who can see what a big deal it will be.
Wonderful update. There are so many characters that need rages but don't deserve them. Plus from the ctp chest I've gotten refinement 5 goddamn times over the last year, so my rage stores are low
Something to keep in mind is that although the 1% obelisk is great for f2p players, there is a bigger drop in damage from rage to obelisk if you don't have a lot of pierce, since rage ignores 60% of the boss's defense, so if you have 25% pierce, rage will have less of an advantage over obelisks
This is really amazing and a huge win for f2p and new players...but without content its not that good for every one...i love this kind of improvement its makes game easy for starters but if i say in my case i don't have a ctp on Ghost Rider and i have multiple baby rages in inventory even if i equip one on him where i am suppose to use him (stage 135 already cleared)...this improvement is amazing but they have to improve content to use this these amazing things
You should make another video where you make a list about characters who are more aligned for anger procs and characters which will benefit more from obe procs.
Couldn't wait for your video to test them out😅 I crafted all my x-men materials and pretty much spent more than 8mil lost count because I also T3d Goblin. Anyways all that craft, enhance and rerolls meanwhile I have 2 rages seating waiting for luna or another favorite/bias of mine. BTW I equipped these Anger Obelisks to those I unequipped my CTP of rage from way back cause of powercreep and meta shift such as Shang Chi, GR, Odin, SuperGiant, etc.
I've been stockpiling ignore dodge obelisks for a long time, as well as converting unwanteds to reroll fodder. I've already made a couple of each. Can't wait to test them on sub-CTP worthy teammates.
Shocking how much better it made kingo. I have every t4 but storm, and having more of them be usable like venom and carnage is actually so good (venom is lower priority for a rage so he got a proc for what little it would do, and since carnage has no artifact i have been using a proc)
I have a 140% proc on Thor and repelled a 0.8% per 1% dodge rate I only have 50% dodge on Thor and I’m wondering if I should swap the proc for a rage should I?
Wait till you have one on an elemental character with there requist element and Diet Rage. I have Cold Damage 0.9 crit rate based Diet Rage on Iceman. It's Quite Good
This one tiny change in the obelisks has made me wanna play more again I’m going thru changing so many of my B and C tier characters (I use for shadowland) to the anger procs haha 😂
Bro test Spidey with a Mini Rage (with GBI in it) Spidey has high crit & dodge rate. So, it's super easy to cap his crit / dodge & with GBI you can make a very strong 2 way character.
I use anger on Maya Lopez and she is serving, characters have their own proc make even more damage but I think the detail is a proc only amplifies 1 skill and the background damage (other skills we lined up) but anger amplifies damage times percentage for whole five seconds therefore characters who can't proc can proc this consistently like Echo, Kingo, Strange, Rachel Summers, Venom, Scarlet Witch and more. Let me tell you Maya procs so good like I do 5dc3c2c4 and the second she hits or gets the 5th skill buff she procs anger obelisk
These are the only truly impactful thing in the entire update. And for right now my RNG for creating them is really good, certainly better than trying to get 180 and 200 procs.
Anger Obelisk doesn't have the damage decrease, if you would've tested it without pierce it would've been eclipsed by rage. Still a GREAT obelisk, *don't get me wrong*, but Odin + Rage was the only one outside of Moonstone that could do the 100 second clear back in the day.
I hate how damn grindy this is though. Makes me glad I just have 3 Rage CTPs(on for Venom, Thor & even Marvel X Black Bolt. I didnt know his better uniform was freakin' limited time, and I got the Marvel X uni to Mythic. So a Rage CTP makes it a decent, temporary thing). Because I didnt, then it would take forever to get these basically mini Rage CTPs, due to the rigged RNG(seriously, just have a guaranteed roll cost more gold), and having to save up tons of maxed obelisks for said roll. And without my inventory maxing out.
hey bro,could u do testing on a singular character for comparison of 200% dmg proc vs this mini rage?ive seen videos on others about the mini rage performance n ive done tested it,this mini rage jus a bit tad weaker than 200% obe dmg proc,but in terms of abx performance its seems then mini rage n normal rage have only differences of score between 800k-1 mill.........this is extremely good value for f2p,very valuable for those f2p in terms for abx(for me at least),but i didnt see/test yet for comparison of dmg proc n this mini rage on abx...........hoping u could try to experiment it if ur willing...........been waiting ur review for this mini rage though,nice vids as always n keep up the good stuff bro 👍👍👍

I rolled three of the baby rages today. Since I do not have any spare rages, my Venom and Dr. Strange have that baby rage equipped.

I just have Obe-Rage T3 level 74 Black Bolt and he's destroying WBLs. It really helps me especially for a 0% pierce account that I currently using.
I rolled a extreme obelisk with high crit, practically max ignore dodge and .9% of that new proc. Is it good?

If I remember correctly, Kingo was my first clear for knull wbl with a rage and no pierce.
Kingo is really solid lowkey especially when with the other eternals.

He did test without pierce. he used a F2P card set the whole video as shown at 3:35

Yes it is. I've had a venom with 160 proc and he was shit. I didn't even used him anywhere. Now I've given 1% mini rage and he just melt bars (lvl 80)

I gave up on the new obelisks after I rolled 300+ times but still couldn't get the crit rate 1+1.

You can upgrade 2 stars obelisks until its 6 stars, you can also wait from daily log in rewards and sometimes it gives you one

Auto play thru dimension missions with all of your leftover stamina. You'll get a bunch. Then upgrade them like he said
